She's known for her perfect teeth and fiery arguments.

But reality star Stephanie Pratt has revealed she loves herbal medicine, hates heights and would like to save all the world's dogs from being put down.

Answering MailOnline's quick-fire health quiz, she says the secret to her size-zero frame is avoiding sugar - even cutting out fruit when she's trying to slim down.

She also admitted she now spends most of her time at the gym since splitting with Made in Chelsea co-star Josh Shepherd last year.

She first shot to fame on MTV's The Hills - in which she appeared with her brother Spencer - now a divisive figure.

And two years after joining the Made In Chelsea cast in 2013, she released a memoir, Made In Reality, chronicling her struggles with anorexia, bulimia and an addiction to crystal meth.

But now she says her only vice is water - drinking up to 12 glasses a day - or the occasional cookie she buys from a favourite shop in London.

Here she describes how she packs her diet with protein, her gruelling exercise regime, and how she writes a gratitude diary to de-stress.

WHAT’S THE MOST INTENSE EXERCISE YOU DO?

Running up hills on hikes with a weighted backpack. I’ll put two 2lb weights in, and three water bottles.

DO YOU EAT YOUR 5 A DAY?

I’m not as specific as the 5 a day. I’m more a 70 per cent - 30 per cent  girl - where 70 per cent you’re good and 30 per cent you’re bad.

I do make sure I eat vegetables every day.

If I’m trying to get slim I’ll cut out fruit just because of the sugar. If I eat a lot of protein I don’t feel hunger. Protein is the key.

I’d rather have eggs for breakfast than oatmeal because oatmeal is carbs and I’ll just feel hungry again straight after.

WHAT DO YOU EAT IN A NORMAL DAY?

I eat raisin bran for breakfast and almond milk, unless I have time for eggs. Lunch I eat a sandwich or salad or fish.

I'm really into all these Asian wheat noodle soups - I'm obsessed with the new culture revolution dumplings.

Last night I had a coconut curry. Nothing too strict.

WHAT DO YOU DO TO TREAT YOURSELF?

I'll never pass a cheeseburger. But I'm smart about what I eat. The cheeseburger has protein in the meat so I'll take that over a pasta if that makes sense.

I ordered some Ben's cookies last week - I've still got some of them in our freezer. Cookies and brownies are what I'd go for if I was going to treat myself.

EVER DIETED?

Its just a lifestyle. I had to figure out what worked for me. When I tried fad diets and get so upset, that’s when I suffered

DO YOU FEEL UNDER PRESSURE TO BE THIN?

I'm pretty healthy because I'm from LA and it’s the lifestyle I grew up with.

There's a lot of pressure to be size zero there. It's so weird, like when you're driving everyone is running alongside, the gyms is packed during the day, the freeways are packed.

I don't think anyone works there.

Everyone is a model or an actor there so they just spend all their time working out.

And because it’s so nice out, I definitely feel a lot more pressure to be fit when I'm in LA than when I'm here in London.

I think it’s the weather to be honest. In LA there are so many outdoor activities you can do hiking, cycling swimming, it’s more of a lifestyle thing there.

Here when it’s raining the last thing I'm going to do is jump in a cab and go to the gym.

DO YOU HAVE ANY VICES?

I don’t have any vices. Probably water is my main vice. I drink 10 to 12 glasses. I do that for my skin and overall health.

A lot of the time I think I’m hungry but I’m actually just thirsty.

At the moment I’m drinking aloe vera water.

I only really go out once or twice a week. I’ve only gone out about once or twice this year because I’ve been in the gym.

It fits in with my lifestyle perfectly because I’m tired from working out.

I also love Goodness Shakes' Protein Coconut Water.

WHAT DO YOU DO TO DE-STRESS?

It’s been a really bad four months.

Yoga is really nice, to meditate, get calm and grateful. I always write a gratitude list before it begins.

I say thank you for my health, my family, their health, the deep things that really matter.ANY FAMILY AILMENTS?

My mom has arthritis and my nana just died of breast cancer.

I’ll probably have the BRCA1 test for breast and ovarian cancer when I’m back home next Christmas.

I just feel like it’s something you just do if a member of your family has died of breast cancer.

I haven’t planned what I’ll do if I do have the gene.

ANY CURRENT HEALTH PROBLEMS?

I think I have a sleeping disorder- I need like 10 hours of sleep a night. And I can nap anywhere.

I get really goofy if I don’t get enough sleep.

She added: 'I’ve had cancerous moles removed- they were zapped away so its not painful. I went home one day and my mom was like ‘have you got that checked?’ and it turned out it was cancerous'

WORST ILLNESS OR INJURY?

I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad injury.

DO YOU TAKE PAINKILLERS?

I just drink Advil. I bring it back to the UK with me because I’m not used to the English painkillers. I like to stick to what I know.

EVER HAD ANYTHING REMOVED?

I’ve had my wisdom teeth removed when I was 16. I ate a lot of jello, it was pretty chill.

And I’ve had cancerous moles removed- they were zapped away so its not painful. I went home one day and my mom was like ‘have you got that checked?’ and it turned out it was cancerous.

I’ve always been a huge sunscreen person because I’m from Malibu. I’m really good about it.

WOULD YOU CONSIDER PLASTIC SURGERY?

There’s nothing I want now but it’s not something I’m opposed to in future.

IS SEX IMPORTANT TO YOU?

I think having an emotional connection is more important than a physical connection.

TRIED ALTERNATIVE REMEDIES?

I love anything herbal, anything from eastern medicine. I tried to do acupuncture but I hated it. My sister was like ‘it’s great’ but I hated it. I hate needles.

I use herbal stuff if I can’t sleep at night and for anything from sore muscles to stomach aches.

EVER BEEN DEPRESSED?

Yes. I saw doctors and took medication.

BIGGEST PHOBIA?

I really don’t like heights. I just avoid them.

IN WHICH COUNTRY DO YOU WANT TO END UP LIVING?

I’m not a planner. My motto is – it’s so bad - to wing it. I like to be prepared with luck. A combination of being prepared and luck. I really trust the Universe.

LIKE TO LIVE FOR EVER?

Yes. I would make a lot of money and help rescue all the dogs that are going to be euthanised.
