'Two healthy baby boys': Fitness model who showed off her incredible abs at 36 weeks pregnant recreates her viral baby bump photo - this time with their newborns

A fitness guru and a new mother have recreated their a photo that showed their varying sized pregnant bellies - this time with their newborns.

Chontel Duncan, 27. from Brisbane, Queensland, and her friend Nat compared their bodies to show how different women carry, when Chontel was 21.5 weeks pregnant with an almost-six-pack and Nat was four weeks further along with a much bigger tummy.

After the image swept the internet, the new mothers have now been pictured in the same poses with their new arrivals to show they had both delivered healthy babies.

The mum, who became an Instagram hit with her muscular body and continued workouts throughout her pregnancy, captioned the picture: 'Two healthy incredible pregnancies and now two healthy baby boys.'

Chontel, who cuddled baby Jeremiah in the picture, wrote: 'Had a lovely surprise visit from Nat and baby Charlie. OMG his baby blue eyes are so beautiful. 

'Wish I could have cuddled & kissed him but I'm not 100 per cent well yet (hence my rank face).'

Chontel, who runs fitness business HIIT Australia and was the Queensland finalist in Miss Universe Australia 2009, shared the snap with her 550,000 Instagram followers. 

The post has had more than 18,000 likes as they recreated the shot from March, when the two heavily pregnant mums-to-be were pictured facing each other with their stomachs on show in crop tops.

Chontel wrote about the original image which went viral with 4,000 likes. She captioned it: 'I was surprised with a cute visit today from a friend Nat who is also expecting.

'Just being able to see someone in the flesh, rub her tummy, hear how incredible her journey has been so far, how healthy baby is & all the fun talk about kicks, food, names was beautiful.

'This is Nat's third pregnancy so she had a lot of great advice to share.'

She continued: 'We worked out that we are four weeks apart, so our little ones will be the same age, same grade at school and potential best buds.

'Each women carries different and this most certainly doesn't mean one is doing something wrong or not healthy. We both have healthy growing babies & we both have had incredible pregnancies so far, feeling amazing & full of energy.' 

Chontel's followers appreciated her point and Instagram user Sonnysway123 posted: 'Look how cute they all look. Everyone, genes are different and respond to pregnancy in different ways.'

Even when she was 28 days away from giving birth, Chontel was working out every day and still eating healthily. 

And after giving birth, Chontel regained her physique quickly, sharing snaps of her incredible post-baby body, almost four weeks after giving birth to her son Jeremiah. 

Last month, Chontel shared a photo on Instagram of her flexing her muscles after a five kilometre walk, a post that earned over 11,500 likes.

Chontel revealed that she had full medical clearance to start walking again and that she would be returning to training at the gym in two weeks.

'I am such an OCD person with my body, I MUST get full approval for everything before I'll go do it,' she wrote. 

'I'd absolutely be shattered if I caused myself injury or any damage for not listening an just jumping the gun. If I feel a slight bit of change in straight on the phone to my midwife lol asking every question under the sun [sic].'

The bronzed brunette also shared a photo of herself at breakfast last month in a tiny crop top and tights, shortly after another morning walk.

And later that evening she posed in a bright pink sports crop, showing off her toned physique to her 534,000 followers. 

'Hard work pays off! I wish I didn't have all kinds of weight to loose after my babies! I was lazy and ate a lot while prego lol [sic],' one woman wrote.

'I haven't seen my GP yet to see how my first week of healing has gone but when i do, it'll be then that I will be able to see a goal ahead with my healing process. 

'The midwife & nurses follow up went well so fingers crossed i have a speedy recovery & continue on the straight road ahead.'

At 37, 38 and 39-weeks-pregnant, the passionate fitness expert shared videos of herself kickboxing and doing a hardscore strength session at her HIIT Australia headquarters and explained how she was able to keep up her active lifestyle.

'Couldn't feel better, my body, energy & mobility is allowing me to continue to stay active,' Chontel wrote on one of her videos.

'Yes I understand that this may shock others... And it's because my lifestyle and bodies condition coming into my pregnancy was not like theirs and that is the honest truth [sic].' 

At 37 weeks, Chontel said she was 'super grateful' for her pre-pregnancy health condition as it allowed her to 'smash' her pregnancy.

She also said she wasn't aware how long she would be out of action for after birth and that it would rely on the success of the delivery, how her body handles it, how settled her newborn is and how well she handles 'being a mummy for the first time.'

Chontel, who was the Queensland finalist in Miss Universe Australia 2009, has been sharing her journey on social media since the beginning of her pregnancy along with nutrition advice and various workouts.
