'I'm sorry daytime television!': Kanye West keeps it real during EPIC rant about Mark Zuckerberg, breaking in fashion industry and bullying on Ellen DeGeneres 

He is known for his rants on Twitter.

But Kanye West found a new forum for one of his diatribes: daytime television.

The 38-year-old rapper will be on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday as he touched on several topics including asking Mark Zuckerberg for help, The Oscars and even how he wants to combat bullying.

It all began when the 58-year-old chat show host brought up that his wife Kim Kardashian said that there should be a board of directors who go through his tweets before he posts them.

When asked if he believes there should be such a group headed by his 35-year-old wife he replied: 'Absolutely not.'

Kanye went on to say that he hasn't regretted anything he has ever posted on the microblogging site and when asked by Ellen if he would like to go through that the rapper queried:  'What’s the point of thinking?'

Referring to his tweets aimed at entrepreneur Mark Zuckerberg back in February, the comedienne asked if it would have been better to contact him via Facebook.

Kanye responded: 'Yes, I should have put it on Facebook. Now I understand why he didn't hit me back. 

'I understand that Zuckerberg doesn't use Twitter, even though I have had dinner with he and his wife and told him about how I wanted to help the world and he said he'd help me and blah blah blah.'

He then compared the situation to 2006 Will Smith flick The Pursuit of Happyness while launching into his long-winded monologue. 

Kanye says that he could help more people with more resources and that he has ideas that could help the human race adding: 'F*** the paparazzi, whatever perception you have of me.

When asked to elaborate further, Kanye explained that the world is in a 'renaissance period' where people can have influence in all different types of fields.

He went on to share personal stories about his father living in homeless shelters and his mother becoming the first black female chair in the English department at Chicago State University. 

He added: 'I was raised to do something, to make a difference.'

The Highlights rapper even touched on the 'Oscars So White' movement as he said: 'It was like the moment, you know, all black actors can talk about the glass ceilings we've dealt with out in this town.

'You get this night, go ahead. Chris Rock is going to do it, bam. Talk about how many times you've been blocked from being able to excel. I didn't take it as a joke, it ain't no joke as Rakim said.'

He talked about being raised on hip-hop and expression by artists like Phife Dawg from A Tribe Called Quest and Rakim.

Kanye said he doesn't care about how many albums are sold and it's about connecting before talking about now-deceased influential figures.

The Grammy award winner said he can help people and even talked about his. condition, synesthesia, where he sees sounds.

He went on to say: 'It's funny because I was sitting there with [President Barack] Obama and Leo's [DiCaprio] is talking about the environment and I'm talking about clothes. And everyone looks at me like that's not an important issue or something.

'But I remember going to school in fifth grade and wanting to have a cool outfit. I called the head of Payless and I said "I want to work with you, I want to take all this information that I've learned from sitting at all these fashion shows and knocking down all these doors and buying all these expensive clothes and I want to take away bullying."'

After an applause from the audience, he talked about Michael Jackson's influence and his breaking through on MTV despite being categorised as 'urban.'

Kanye said that he now has to be the Michael Jackson of apparel to break open the doors for everyone coming after him.

Kanye also talked about his children including how his two-year-old daughter North cares for five-month-old son Saint but remained mum on whether he wants more kids.

The Life Of Pablo rapper and Ellen also had some fun together as they played a game of  5 Second Rule.
