As a high profile supermodel she is used to all eyes being on her.

And that was no different at the amfAR's 23rd Cinema Against AIDS Gala at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Cannes on Thursday evening, as Petra Nemcova turned heads in a spectacular eye-catching gown.

The 36-year-old Czech beauty utilised the extra material of her stunning pink floor-length Georges Chakra dress to create dramatic movement, before going on to reconnect with her rumoured flame, Lewis Hamilton.

Formula One racer Hamilton, 31, who was linked to the stunner last month after they enjoyed a cosy night at the Laureus World Sports Awards and left a hotel together the next morning, seemed taken with the beauty, and it wasn't difficult to see why.

Her one-shoulder garment boasted different shades of pink ranging from cherry, which highlighted her bustier region and the ends of her dress to rose ombre, which cinched in her tiny waist.

While the dress was rarely not in movement, it featured quite a lengthy train, which had a main purpose of being thrown up in the air in dramatic swirls, which Petra did with ease.

While she partied away with her supermodel buddies, the 5 ft 10 in beauty ensured that all eyes were on her as she posed up a storm with her perfected supermodel pose, but with the added drama.

The amfAR Gala at the Cannes Film festival is always a very glamorous affair.

High octane dresses, more supermodels than you can shake a stick at and some seriously showstopping looks. Petra Nemcova is a regular Cannes attendee and this year has already rocked creations by Safiyaa and Michael Costello, but last night opted for Georges Chakra.

This ombre gown in shades of pink was a safe choice for Petra but who can blame her for going with such a romantic look? We love the draping, single shoulder strap and of course the use of colour.

On many occasions, the stunning number drew comparisons from the colourings of a tulip petal and gave off a feminine edge.

However, she ensured that her look wasn't too girly as she wore a pair of deep maroon peep-toe strappy heels and matched it with a slightly vampy pout.

The stunner also opted for an eddy side braided chignon, where her blonde tresses were left loose and in waves on one side.

A glittering pair of long maroon and silver earrings framed her face where the rest of her make-up look was kept to a natural minimum.
