Stephanie Davis has been tweeting from her hospital bed amid claims that she's carrying a child.

She posted a graphic image of her right arm hooked up to a drip, accompanied by the caption: 'Feel alwful (sic) but had an epiphany #notimeforawaister'

According to The Mirror, the 23-year-old also shared and then deleted a cryptic message on Thursday night that hinted at ill health as it read:  '#praying #stress #hospital #heartleslyevil,'

Stephanie was recognisable from her right wrist tattoo, which is a date stamp from the month that her beloved grandfather passed away in 2015.

A representative told MailOnline on Friday: 'Stephanie Davis was admitted to hospital last night due to stress. We can confirm that after routine tests Stephanie is fine and is now back at home and resting.'

A source told MailOnline: 'The baby is fine.' 

Stephanie had vowed to take a break from social media after alleging that she was pregnant with her ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell's child.

Though even on Friday morning, the former Hollyoaks actress was tweeting and deleting posts, including one that featured a broken heart and the caption: 'no-one will ever understand'

The post showed a man and a woman sharing an embrace at sunset with the quote: 'I will always love you, no matter what happens between us.'

Steph couldn't resist sharing a few snaps on her Instagram account on Wednesday as she enjoyed a night out in Manchester with her close friend JSky.

Pouting up a storm with her pal, the CBB star showed her former flame what he was missing in her sportswear luxe ensemble and she captioned the image, 'Manchester summer evenings'.

The social media flurry comes as her ex Jeremy hit back at being compared to Amy Winehouse's ex Blake Fielder-Civil in The Daily Star.

Blake was known for his turbulent romance with the late singer, as well as their well documented drug abuse.

A source told the newspaper: '[Stephanie] looks up to Amy Winehouse in terms of the music, but we were worried as we could see her mirroring Amy and Blake with Jez, and we were scared it would turn into that.

'Things just got so intense she needed out, she's a fighter though she will be fine.'

Seemingly feeling amused by the situation, Jeremy posted, 'You know there's something wrong if the papers are comparing you to Amy winehouse ex Blake #behave', alongside a host of laughing emojis.

Jeremy finally ended speculation that he is set to become a father with Stephanie with a lengthy post with his 376,000 followers that he later deleted.

He wrote: 'He vowed to stand by his ex-love if she stops drinking and partying while 'pregnant' but reiterated he had no clarity of the truth behind the matter.

'Just to clear if what is circulating is true, I'll always be responsible for my actions and I explained to Steph I'll speak to her, and do everything for her, if she stops drinking and partying knowing she's "pregnant".

'I'm sick of tit for tat but I won't let anyone slander me, I haven't been ideal in the relationship what so ever, I'm trying to move on peacefully, it's a shock to most, but a kid can't fix a broken relationship.'

The turbulent couple called time on their on/off relationship for the fourth time last month following a series of blazing rows which, at times reportedly turned physical, while holidaying in Cape Verde.

The former pair first began dating in January after they fell for one another while competing on this year's 'Celebrity Big Brother' but, over the past five months, they've been rocked by countless cheating allegations and vicious rumours.
