So it only seemed fitting that Julianne Hough recharged her batteries before catapulting herself in to her work commitments.

The 27-year-old former Dancing With The Stars pro, who has also become quite the triple threat with her acting and singing prowess, looked the epitome of casual cool as she headed out and about in Los Angeles on Thursday with a pal.

She looked relatively calm compared to her usual perky displays which also saw her return to Dancing With The Stars as a choreographer and judge.

Julianne, who started dating Brooks in 2014, announced her engagement on August 18, 2015.

While the couple are enjoying a long engagement, she previously revealed to Good Morning America that she would be the 'worst bride ever,'- although hasn't revealed any plans for the big day.

'I want to look like me! Julianne has spoken about her hair and make-up look during her yet to be confirmed wedding day

She has however spoken to People magazine about how she'd like to look for the union, stating- 'My main thing is that I want to look like me.'

She also mentioned: 'We're just kind of enjoying it right now. Once we kind of figure out when and where and all that, then I'll start diving deep with that.'
