She's been inseparable from rumoured girlfriend Kristen Stewart during their stay in Cannes.

But on Tuesday, Alicia Cargile let the belle of the 2016 Film Festival get stuck into some work while she lapped up the plush surroundings of their Cannes base - the famed Hotel du Cap.

Alicia - who is Kristen's former personal assistant - enjoyed the balmy temperatures with pals as they splashed around in the ocean.

The blonde showed off her toned figure in a black halterneck bikini top teamed with sporty shorts and shades.

Alicia flaunted her colourful arm tatoos as she enjoyed a carefree afternoon sunbathing and diving into the blue water with a group of friends.

She has joined actress Kristen in Cannes, supporting the US star as she throws herself into a hectic schedule promoting a number of new movies at the world renowned film festival.

The two have sparked rumours of a renewed romance after holding hands at a number of Cannes events this week, including a cosy red carpet walk at the American Honey screening in Cannes on Sunday.

It was reported last week that Kristen split from her French singer girlfriend Stephanie 'Soko' Sokolinski after a 'few months of dating'.

Kristen and Alicia were rumored to be dating last year although neither confirmed the relationship.

However, Kristen's mother did appear to confirm the romance to the UK's Daily Mirror in June 2015, although she later denied her comments.

The former child star has kept quiet about her love life since her high profile relationship with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson came to an end two years ago.

That was after she was seen kissing married Rupert Sanders, 44, who directed her in 2012 film Snow White and the Huntsman.

In August last year, Kristen opened up to Nylon magazine about her sexuality and lashed out at those who discussed the subject.

She said: 'If you feel like you really want to define yourself, and you have the ability to articulate those parameters and that in itself defines you, then do it.

'But I am an actress, man. I live in the f***ing ambiguity of this life and I love it. I don’t feel like it would be true for me to be like, "I’m coming out!" No, I do a job.

'Until I decide that I’m starting a foundation or that I have some perspective or opinion that other people should be receiving…I don’t. I’m just a kid making movies.'
