'The Beckhams are a great family': Chloe Moretz on dating Brooklyn, 'sex scenes with randoms' and how her brothers have threatened to KILL past boyfriends

She confirmed that she's dating the heir apparent to the Beckham dynasty last week.

And it seems that 17-year-old Brooklyn isn't the only member of his family who's impressed Chloe Moretz, as she revealed to The Edit how impressed she was with the whole clan's manner.

Speaking about the relationship between herself and Brooklyn's family, the 19-year-old Kick Ass star labelled them a 'great family' who 'understand' the often strange and hectic nature of her work.

Landing on the cover of Net-A-Porter's magazine, the actress posed for a series of stylish shots whilst also revealing her relationship with her boyfriend's family is in a very good place.

Explaining her views on the Brooklyn's close-knit family - David, Victoria, Romeo, Cruz and Harper - she said they had a down-to-earth attitude. 

'[The Beckhams] are a great family,' she gushed. 'They don’t tout their money either.'

And it seems that Brooklyn might just be Mr. Right when it comes to the long-term for the Carrie star, as she explained the budding photographer and his family are able to 'understand' her work and commitments.

With her career as a rising Hollywood star calling for her to move towards more adult roles and themes, she said being a relationship with a fellow celebrity seemed to work better.

'They’d [the family] understand the travel, the sex scenes with random people, the crazy schedule,' she said.

And when it comes to dating she also revealed that it's been hard to form a bond with people in the past, as her work has allowed people to form a personal bond with her in no time at all.

'I’ll think, "How are we vibing so hard right now?" Then I realize, and I don’t care anymore, I just go back to work.'

But it seems that Brooklyn has had to charm Chloe's family as well, as she explained any would-be suitor has to get past her four older brothers: Brandon, Trevor, Colin and Ethan.

Speaking about the own hurdle that is her protective family, she said: 'When boys come over! My brothers answer the door and they’re like, "Yo". All four of them. 

'And they’re big dudes – all over six foot. It’s like, "You mess with [Chloë] and we will kill you." I love that!'

But it seems Chloe has also learned a lot being the youngest in her family, as she explained her brothers helped her understand life on a 'deeper level'.

Speaking of watching and learning from her three sibling's faltering steps, she said: 'I understood life on a deeper level, because I watched my brothers make all their mistakes first.'

But while Chloe has embraced the Beckham family, and can always rely on her own, she revealed that while she may be one of Hollywood's hottest bright young things she can count her real friends on one hand - one digit to be precise.

'I’ve only got one real friend that I trust,' she revealed. 'But I’m cool with that. She’s totally normal, goes to college.'
