Gwen Stefani reunited with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale at their son's basketball game in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

In a show of support for her boy, the dutiful mum sat court-side, next to her former partner of almost 20 years, as they watched Kingston, nine, play ball.

And if her body language was anything to go by, Gwen, 46, was grinning and bearing the uncomfortable situation as much as she could muster.

It is the first time the duo have been pictured together since announcing their divorce last year.

In pictures obtained by Dailymail.com the blonde songstress sat cross-legged as she perched on the bench in the sports hall.

Sporting high-waist jeans and burgundy lace-up boots, Gwen was unmistakable with her platinum blonde tresses in curls and wearing her trademark scarlet lippy.

The Voice star rested her head in her hand at one point as she leaned forward to take in the action.

The meet-up follows another an encounter between the two last week when Gwen was pictured driving away from Mulholland Estates looking visibly upset after seeing the father of her three children.

Though they have both remained tight-lipped about the circumstances surrounding the end of their marriage, it was claimed Gavin cheated on the Hollaback hitmaker with the family's nanny Mindy Mann.
