Despite their tender ages, it's already obvious that North West and Penelope Disick are the queen bees of their mini social set.

And the cousins looked in their element as they partied up a storm with pal Ryan at her fourth birthday on Saturday.

The trio of adorable BFFs had their faces painted, indulged in oversized lollipops and posed together in the photobooth - always an essential at any Kardashian party.

Ryan's mother, publicist and children's clothing designer Tracy Nguyen Romulus, hosted the bash at children's play spot The Coop in Sherman Oaks.

Sharing a sweet snap of her daughter and playmates on Instagram, she wrote: 'best friends forever.'

Both three-year-old Penelope's mom Kourtney, and her brothers Reign and Mason were in attendance, while two-year-old North had mother Kim Kardashian there to keep an eye on her.

The Kardashian sisters are both good friends of Tracys and the trio often enjoy outings with their girls.

North looked sweet in a white shirt and denim shorts, with a mermaid necklace to finish her outfit. 

While her outfit was the perfect mix of practical and cute, her mother sacrificed comfort for style.

Kim wowed in her Gucci menswear silk baby blue bomber, pairing it with a white cleavage revealing top and lace up cream hued skirt.

But it was the 35-year-old's thigh high boots that really stood out, matching her high-waisted mini skirt.

It was a busy day for the reality star family, with Kim and North earlier joining Kanye West at Nobu in Malibu for a family lunch.
