They recently celebrated their first anniversary as a couple.

And Elle Evans and Matt Belamy looked as close as ever as they cosied up, cutting a fine figure at amfAR's 23rd Cinema Against AIDS Gala at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday evening.

The 26-year-old blonde beauty slipped into a stunning dusky pink gown while her Muse frontman beau, 37, looked dashing in a tuxedo.

Elle showed off her model good looks in her glamorous gown which was almost underwear-inspired in its shape with slinky straps and barely-there form.

The dusky pink colour was perfectly offset against her bright blonde hair and flawless pale skin while also helping her glow alongside her British boyfriend.

The Texas-born beauty looked incredibly youthful in the dress which seemed to show that she opted to forego underwear due to its slinky clinging material.

She added dazzling additions to the look with a pearl necklace and intricately beaded clutch bag to help add sparkle to the ensemble.

Elle kept her make-up totally pared back while coordinating her pink eyeshadow with her dress and adding a slick of peachy lipgloss to help the outfit pop.

Matt meanwhile went for classic glamour in a smart black tuxedo while keeping a smattering of designer facial hair in place to add an edgy feel to the look.

Elle is Matt's first girlfriend since his split from Almost Famous star Kate Hudson in 2014 after four years together.

The couple started dating in April 2015 and have been inseparable ever since, enjoying several exotic holidays together over the past months.

The model also stars in the music video for Muse's song Mercy, taken from their latest award-winning album.

The former Playboy Playmate of the Week shot to fame with another music video cameo, appearing in Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams' now infamous Blurred Lines video in 2013.

The fundraiser, which raises money for AIDs research, will see the likes of Katy Perry perform for the A-list crowd, while Adriana Lima will co-chair the event.

After posing up a storm on the red carpet, the celebrities make their way into a lavish dinner which is followed by a no expense spared auction, with last year's event raising a staggering $30 million.

The event, which takes place just outside of Cannes, will also feature Kirsten Dunst, Vanessa Paradis and Donald Sutherland who are serving as chairs for the Cannes Film Festival Jury.
