She jetted into Australia less than 24 hours ago for Mercedes-Benz Australian Fashion Week 2016.

And just moments after touching down, Shanina Shaik made her sensational red carpet debut ahead of the highly-anticipated Oscar de la Renta preview in Sydney's Carriageworks, on Friday evening.

The 24-year-old Victoria’s Secret model showed off her enviable figure in the scarlet designer gown, which gathered at one side, as she meandered into the star-studded event.

Shanina - who is of Lithuanian, Pakistani and Saudi Arabian heritage - pouted and posed for the cameraman vying to capture her attention in the boob tube number which billowed outward.

The Melbourne born star perfectly coordinated her look with emerald green earrings, which sparkled in the light and complemented the deep red undertones of the frock perfectly.

She heightened her petite form with a pair lime green satin heels that not only elongated her silhouette but accentuated her sizable calf muscles

The beauty queen was polished to a high standard with her raven locks scrapped back into a neat bun, while impeccably-applied make-up intensified her natural beauty.

Mid-week, it was announced she would walk the runway and she didn't disappoint, opening in a camel and black tweed jacket and poppy-red embroidered skirt and a large smile for her home crowd.

The final show capped off a week of local designers taking advantage of a carefully placed fashion week.

After a move from April to mid-May, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week kicked off the global fashion Resort wear calendar before major fashion capitals around the world.

During the week, Australian designers including Toni Maticevski, Ginger & Smart, Zhivago, and Akira showcased their latest collections to a crowd with a 60 per cent increase of international buyers because of the favourable time-change.

Shanina was joined by a host of stars - including Scott Disick's rumoured flame Megan Blake Irwin - at the fashionable event.

Megan, 21, didn't put a foot wrong when she stepped out at the final Australian fashion week show.

The model strutted the pavement in an eye-catching semi-sheer lace frock which boasted intricate frills and cut-out detailing that only accentuated her slender curves.

Not wishing to draw attention away from the fancy frock, the blonde beauty kept her look largely uncluttered - accessorising minimally with a black choker.

She completed her look with towering stilettos with a geometrical design.

Other guests included presenter Nikki Phillips, Kris Smith, his girlfriend Maddy King, April Rose Pengilly and Ksenija Lukich as well as broadcaster Richard Wilkins and his son Christian.
