She's a busy working mom with a new film to promote.

And Rose Byrne balanced her two very different jobs with finesse on Thursday, with the actress spotted cuddling her infant son Rocco before switching into glam mode for an appearance in New York on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

The off-duty 36-year-old gave her three-month-old newborn a kiss on the head as she lunched with some girlfriends, who also doted on her baby boy.

With her brunette tresses swept back into a low-key bun, Rose looked relaxed and carefree as she shared a laugh with her little boy in her arms.

The actress had one hand wrapped firmly around her boy, while her son wrapped his own tiny hands around her wrist.

Just before getting up to leave, Rose's friends helped her out in getting her boy bundled up.

As one friend held little Rocco, the new mother helped her son into his sweater.

Looking every bit the cool and casual mum, Rose donned a black leather jacket, jeans, and a pair of tan sandals as she pushed her bouncing baby in his stroller.

Rose and her boyfriend Bobby Cannavale welcomed their baby boy into their family in February.

Little Rocco is their first child together.

The actress, meanwhile, struck a far more glam note when she arrived to the Late Show, ditching the jacket and shades for a striking black dress with gold accents.

The frock featured a white lace neckline, long sheer sleeves, and a peplum style skirt.

Departing from her earlier no-fuss bun, Rose had her locks swept back into a chic style with several loose strands framing her forehead.

Rose appeared to be in an upbeat mood as she continued to promote Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising

The mom-of-one has been stylishly taking to the promo trail this week ahead of the US release of the second installment of the Neighbors franchise on May 20.

Rose, who recently posed for Playboy magazine, will also appear on the big screen in X-Men: Apocalypse which hits theaters on May 27.
