Long lost twin? Ellen DeGeneres shows how Johnny Depp and Justin Bieber share striking resemblance

They were born decades apart.

Yet despite their age difference, Ellen DeGeneres demonstrated for the Friday episode of her talk show that Johnny Depp could easily have been mistaken in his youth for Justin Bieber's long lost twin.

The 52-year-old actor came face-to-face with the realization when Ellen compared two photos of the stars, images which appeared to be taken when they were teenagers.

'There's a picture of you, you looked so much like Justin Bieber when you started out,' Ellen said as the photos appeared on screen. 'Look at that!'

'You don't see that?' Ellen then asked.

'He just looks like he might be a little cleaner than me,' Johnny replied before clarifying, 'spiritually, I mean.'

'Oh I see! No, he's not,' Ellen added to the amusement of Johnny and the audience.

The actress has been filming the reboot right by Ellen's show, a fact she marveled at while speaking with Ellen.
