The first pictures of the mangled wreckage from EgyptAir flight 804 has emerged as investigators confirm smoke was detected in multiple places moments before the plane plummeted into the Mediterranean. The plane's twisted blue metal panelling, marked with EgyptAir branding as well as items of clothing and yellow lift jackets have been recovered from the sea, where investigators continue to search for the wreckage. Egyptian media have also reported that divers have found the blackbox between 3 and 4 nautical miles from the crash site.

Concerned friends and relatives rushed to Anna Yara's aid as she sat wailing on a pew in a church in Cairo, during the funeral of her 'perfect' granddaughter Yara Hani Tawfik. Nahla Wagih, a friend of Miss Tawfik, said: 'It is so sad to see the family in this state. There are no words to describe her loss. Yara was the perfect daughter and grand-daughter. The family must be broken.'

She was sedated and was not conscious when her partner of 24 years was taken into her room, and she did not know he had been with her until after she woke up - but by then her husband had died. The touching photographs of the couple holding hands were shared by their son, Chris, who said his father was not prepared to die without saying goodbye to the love of his life.

The Supreme Court this week declined to overturn the injunction, meaning the celebrity must stay anonymous.

A letter was soon sent to his fitness instructor mother Michelle (pair together, left) and his father Jamie who were stunned and appalled that their son could be classified as unhealthy. Mother-of-three Michelle said: 'There's not an inch of fat on him. I teach young students the importance of fitness and nutrition so I'm aware of the nutritional requirements of children.'

The reptile, named Freddy, was found in a bad way by vets in Brazil with his shell completely destroyed (left), things were looking bleak but thankfully a group of superhero surgeons came to his aid. The cohort, known as the Animal Avengers, built Freddy a new hull by using 3D printed prosthetic with pieces that slotted together like a jigsaw(top right and bottom right). Vet Cicero Moraes, said: 'Freddy was the first turtle in the world to receive a fully rebuilt hull and the first creature that we, as a newly formed group of animal rescuers, decided to help.'

It seems the black bears of Washington have nailed the itching method as they used their favourite tree in Tiger Mountain, to reach a particularly pesky spot. A video showed the delighted-looking furry animals gyrating against the tree on their hind legs with their paws in the air (pictured left and right). The city of Issaquah on Friday released the adorable footage of some bears captured in the woods over the course of several months.

Candace Payne of Texas took to Facebook Live on Thursday to stream a hilarious video of herself trying on a Star Wars The Force Awakens Chewbacca Electronic Mask that growls and howls just like the movie franchise's beloved character. Candace can't stop laughing in the clip, and the Star Wars fan's video has become the most watched Facebook Live post ever after it scored more than 50 million views in 24 hours.

His collection now includes  shelves, coat racks, desks and hutches, but the idea started with a simple nightstand that had a side compartment for a pistol. Before Ingram built concealment furniture he was a cabinet maker - but with the success of his new business, he ended his cabinetry business and is now focusing solely on furniture that hides guns. He said as gun sales go up, so do the sales of his furniture and says he always steals the 'gun show'.
