And Sofia Richie dressed the part in black and gold for a night out at Los Angeles hotspot The Nice Guy in West Hollywood on Thursday.

The 17-year-old fashionista was spotted in a pair of ripped jeans and a metallic bomber jacket as she left the trendy venue with friends.

Sofia styled her skintight bottoms with an equally figure-hugging black long-sleeved blouse.

She topped the look off with an over-sized gold coat yet balanced out the androgynous layer with a pair of feminine strappy buckled heels. 

The socialite gave off a 70s vibe as she donned a cream colored scarf around her neck and wore her long blonde locks parted down the middle with a hint of a wave. 

Sofia's nails were painted dark and she accessorized with a dainty necklace and a ring.

The fresh-faced model, who is dating boyfriend Jake Andrews, wore minimal make-up on her outing with a male friend.

Her companion seemed to have taken style tips from Sofia as he also rocked a pair of black ripped jeans and an orange bomber jacket. 

And while Sofia is becoming a familiar face at Hollywood hot spots, she revealed that her older sister Nicole, who has been open about her past heroin addiction, had warned the teen not to give in to pressure to take drugs.

The teenager, who is the face of Madonna's Material Girl clothing, revealed in an interview with Evening Standard in March that her famous sibling told her to never succumb to peer pressure or be tempted to experiment with illegal substances.

Sofia said: 'People look at me thinking, "Oh, you are probably going to go through the same thing." 

'[Nicole] says, "Don't let people pressure you to do what they think is cool, like taking drugs. Be true to yourself."'
