She recently reunited with on-again-off-again beau Justin Bieber in New York.

So of course reports immediately began to swirl again that Hailey Baldwin and Selena Gomez were in a bit of a tiff over the 22-year-old Sorry singer.

But Hailey, 19, quickly put rumours of the supposed fight to rest when she spoke toUs Weekly at the opening of an ice cream shop on Wednesday.

'I think it sucks that people try to start things like that. There's never any truth to that, first of all,' she told the publication.

The leggy daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin then went on to praise the pop starlet profusely.

'She's a lovely girl. She's very kind. Her and I have a lot of mutual friends and it's all cool between everybody. We run in the same circles.'

Hailey was recently spotted with Justin in New York after a performance for his Purpose World Tour.

'I've been dating. I've been having the best time. But I don't trust anybody, so dating can only be fun if I know I'm going to have fun.'

Though Selena hasn't been linked to anyone in particular, that may be by design, as she believes her career and other causes should come first.

'I would try to promote something that I loved, and the entire interview would be about my personal life,' she admitted, no doubt referring to the many dramatic trials between her and Justin while they were dating from 2010-2012.
