She's used to showing off her skills on tennis courts around the world.

But Caroline Wozniacki served up a slice of serious glamour on Thursday as she arrived at the annual amfAR gala in a racy red Ferrari on Thursday.

The 25-year-old, who split from fiancé Rory McIlroy just months before their wedding, famously struggled with the break-up.

However, she looked to be in fine form as she attended the event in Cannes alone and ensured that all eyes were on her in the flash supercar.

The Danish tennis player dazzled as she stepped out onto the red carpet in a figure hugging sequinned dress, which showed off her toned legs with a subtle split along the back and clung flatteringly to her pert posterior.

And she went for ultimate glamour in the makeup stakes as she opted for both a bright red lipstick and smouldering smokey eye.

Caroline also looked perfectly at home in the sunny climes as she showcased her enviably sun-kissed glow.

Nevertheless she opted to dress down her look with a fine-knit white jumper and flat sandals that were embellished with dainty jewel detailing.

And she tied up her trademark golden tresses into a messy updo and added just a touch of volume at the roots.

Last year, the former world No 1 admitted that she felt like someone close to her had died after splitting from golfer Rory McIlroy last year.

The Dane was quoted by Britain's Independent newspaper as saying her world was turned upside down when the Northern Irishman ended their relationship in May 2014 after wedding invitations had been sent out.

'In my head I had everything until that moment,' said Wozniacki. 'I had a great career, I was getting married, I have a perfect family. There was really nothing going against me. I was happy, very happy.'

However, she said the break up made her a stronger person and realise who her real friends were.

AmfAR's 23rd Cinema Against AIDS Gala took place at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday evening.

The event involved pairing an impressive selection of the world’s top models with glittering designer gowns that have been custom made, though with a few exceptions.

Helmed by Carine Roitfeld, the editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, the 31 looks were dubbed the Disco Collection and were up for auction at the gala.

The main inspiration behind the show was a silver disco ball, though icons and iconic locations from the 1970s era, like the legendary New York City club Studio 54, and some of its collaborators and patrons, from Jerry Hall to Diane von Furstenberg, also helped inspire the collection.
