Paying tribute to the Purple One: Prince's ex-wife Manuela Testolini honours late singer in violet leather jacket a month after his death

And Manuela Testolini was keeping the late singer's memory alive on Thursday as she stepped out in Los Angeles with her daughter Amoura Luna Benét.

The 39-year-old, who's married to multiple Grammy-nominated recording artist Eric Benét, was spotted in a violet leather jacket with matching knit cuffs as she pushed her daughter in a stroller.

It seems that her brightly coloured jacket was worn in tribute to the Purple Rain singer, who died on April 21.

Manuela also wore a black V-neck blouse, fitted jeans and some large circular shades.

She dressed her young daughter in a fuchsia coat, and deep violet leather boots.

Manuela shared her sadness after learning of Prince's sudden death last month, telling Radar Online plainly: 'I’m not OK.'

Other celebrities have also honoured the memory of the guitar virtuoso by wearing outfits in his signature colour.

Friend and filmmaker Spike Lee donned a purple hoodie and hat combination when he heard the sad news of the Purple Rain singer's death while attending the Tribeca Film Festival.

Before he tied the knot with Manuela in 2001, Prince was married to Mayte Garcia from 1996 to 1999. The couple had son Ahmir Gregory together, who died of Pfeiffer syndrome a week after his birth.

Meanwhile, the saga over Prince's vast fortune continues, as two more people have come forward claiming to be heirs to pop legend Prince's estate.

The two new potential heirs both said they were descended from Prince's older half-brother Duane Nelson, who died in 2011, and was once head of security for the singer.

In addition to members of Prince's extended family, a 39-year-old inmate in prison for gun possession in a stolen car is seeking recognition as Prince's son.
