Long lost twin? Ellen DeGeneres shows how Johnny Depp and Justin Bieber share striking resemblance
They were born decades apart.
Yet despite their age difference, Ellen DeGeneres demonstrated for the Friday episode of her talk show that Johnny Depp could easily have been mistaken in his youth for Justin Bieber's long lost twin.
The 52-year-old actor came face-to-face with the realization when Ellen compared two photos of the stars, images which appeared to be taken when they were teenagers.
Separated at birth? Ellen DeGeneres proved Johnny Depp could have been separated at birth from Justin Bieber during an appearance for her Friday episode
'There's a picture of you, you looked so much like Justin Bieber when you started out,' Ellen said as the photos appeared on screen. 'Look at that!'
'You don't see that?' Ellen then asked.
'He just looks like he might be a little cleaner than me,' Johnny replied before clarifying, 'spiritually, I mean.'
'Oh I see! No, he's not,' Ellen added to the amusement of Johnny and the audience.
Pulling it off: Johnny's impressive ability to transform into character was once more put on display as he did an impersonation of presidential candidate Donald Trump
'And I love Justin, he's my friend, but he's not,' she added.

'I can't do it at all, but can you?' Ellen asked.
Goofing around! No doubt the pair were having a lot of fun
'I can do it sometimes,' Johnny said in character. 'It won't be sensational,' he finished, winning over the applause of the audience.
'I have built a Papier-mâché wall to Mexico, costs 17.99. Fabulous', he added.

The actress has been filming the reboot right by Ellen's show, a fact she marveled at while speaking with Ellen.
'I open the door, and we're across the street from you, which wasn't the case before, but the set is the same, but we're in a different place,' she said.
The actress also announced that the show would be officially titled Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life. 'It's four ninety minute episodes, and they're winter, spring, summer, and fall,' she explained.
