And it looks like Terrence Howard and Mira  Pak's hard work has paid off, as the mother of the Empire star's one-year-old son Qirin sported a large baby bump as she joined him at a special event for the hit Fox series. 

The 47-year-old actor was beaming with pride as he escorted his lady love on the red carpet, placing a hand tenderly on her swollen belly as they posed for photos.

Mira was the star's third wife but they secretly divorced last September.

However, they were pictured together at the Emmys in LA that same month and again at the Golden Globes this past January.

And on his social media accounts, Terrence has gushed lately over the joy little Qirin, who turned one this month, has brought him.

Back in December, he told Extra that he planned to spend the holidays working on making baby number two with Mira.

There was also a specific time frame to get the deed done, he explained.

'Yeah, we want astrology,' he told the entertainment TV show. 'We want the signs to match up, we need baby born in September to match the Taurus.'

After a few snaps together, the expecting duo were joined by an excited Taraji P. Henson, who excitedly patted Mira's belly. 

Everyone seemed to enjoy the photo op, smiling during the antics.

The actor has three adult children from his first marriage.
