Cutting a dapper figure, the handsome man - who's hit films include Philadelphia and Big - was typically good-looking in his pin-striped suit.

The 59 year-old matched the look with a crisp white shirt and a ribbed, grey metallic tie.

Joining him was his beautiful wife Rita who was effortlessly classy in a black and  white dress suit.

Just 24 hours earlier Tom and Rita enjoyed a much more casual day, which involved sightseeing around the capital.

The couple, who were joined by a female friend, walked the streets before later heading through the Tuileries Garden, the park between iconic landmarks the Louvre Museum and the Place de la Concorde.

Tom and Rita were no doubt happy for a getaway as it has been one year since the stunning actress publicly revealed she had a breast cancer scare.

She is now sure she has beaten the disease, saying she feels ‘blessed’ to have had the love and support of her family and friends throughout the difficult time.

Praising his wife, Tom told MailOnline last year: 'All I could do was bow down before the courage of my wife. We all know by now what hell that sort of health crisis is.

'It just comes along out of the blue and everything else stops because the only thing to do is to drop everything else and pay attention to myriad stuff that needs to be attended to.'
