THE JOLIE-PITTS' TROPICAL SKATEPARK

Forget a vegetable patch and paddling pool, when you're one of the globe's most famous A-list couples with a burgeoning brood of six, only the best will do.

Indeed, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie had a huge skate ramp installed at their Los Feliz base in LA to keep their six children - Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, nine, and seven-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox - entertained.

The sprawling skate park has plenty of space to house the entire family and ensures the kids can hone their skating skills in the privacy of their own palm-tree filled garden.

We don't have a second home in sunny LA, and you probably don't either, but that doesn't mean you can't bring a hint of tropical paradise!  M&S is helping Brits bring the tropics to their homes with the Aztec Guzmania (£7), which is available in stores in vibrant hues of yellow, orange and pink.

JAMIE AND JOOLS OLIVER'S VEG PATCH AND ROPE LADDERS

As one of the world's most famous chefs, it's hardly surprising that Jamie Oliver has an impressive vegetable patch in his back garden.

Indeed, the TV chef and his wife and mother to his four children, Jools, have created a kid-friendly garden at their home where they love to forage for their dinner.

PRINCE CHARLES'S FLOWER-FILLED HIGHGROVE MEADOWS

When he bought the Highgrove estate in 1980, Prince Charles wanted to create a magical garden he said would 'work with nature, not against it'.

Fast forward 13 years and the royal has created bright and beautiful meadows of sweet-hued wisteria, honeysuckle, jasmine, lilies and thyme.

Not only that but green-fingered Charles was keen to protect Britain's endangered native flora and fauna so selected an impressive 32 varieties of endangered native plants such as ox-eye daisies, yellow rattle, and ragged robin.

The Prince also has a stellar vegetable garden, which boasts Charlotte potatoes, spring cabbage, Brussels sprouts and carrots.

Likewise, he has an orchard that grows Cornish Aromatic and Lady’s Delight, as well as some very rare cooking apple trees, many of which are now virtually extinct.

Want to brighten up your garden in royal style? M&S has plenty of vibrant and sweet-smelling plants on display to inspire you at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Head to the UK section, which will include alliums, campanula and begonia, whilst Africa will mix blooms including carnations, Prince Charles's beloved lilies and agapanthus.

KIM AND KANYE WEST'S WHITE FLOWER PARADISE

Kim Kardashian is one of the most famous fans of white flowers - especially the rose variety. When she tied the knot with Kanye, the couple said their vows against a fresh floral wall filled with her favourite roses.

For Mother's Day, Kanye surprised Kim with 'a couple thousand roses' and a private performance by her very own orchestra. So, it's hardly surprising that when they were looking at houses, this $20 million mansion took their fancy.

The stunning estate in Hidden Hills, California, which has eight-bedrooms, boasts multiple pools and its own vineyard, also has a garden filled with white flowers.

Located on an impressive flat three acres of land, the garden has fir trees, lush vegetation and white flora galore. If, like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, you love white flowers, M&S has plenty on offer this summer.

LIAM HEMSWORTH'S BRIGHT BLOOMS

Liam Hemsworth, the 24-year-old Hunger Games star, proved that men can have a penchant for beautiful flowers when he bought his Malibu home, which features three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The beautiful Malibu landscape can be viewed from inside the home's living space, which features entire walls of paneled windows. And what a sight it is to behold! As well as impressively carved wood features, Liam's garden is full of eye-catching purple lavender and vibrant orange tropical plants.

If you, like Liam, love bold purple and orange plants, M&S' Spirit of Summer flowers will be just the ticket.

MIRANDA KERR'S SECRET CITY GARDEN

She may not live in the countryside but supermodel Miranda Kerr has done a stellar job of creating a secret garden in the heart of the city.

The mother of one, who is an avid gardener and has such a penchant for flowers that they inspired her entire teacup collection, recently gave fans a sneak peek at her outdoor space with an Instagram post captioned 'my secret garden'.

The sophisticated supermodel's rooftop terrace boasts rustic table and chairs, punchy pink cushions, a sunbed and copious plants.

The comeback of colour! Get ready to SIZZLE with this summer's hottest garden trends

Want to follow your favourite celebrity's lead and gather some garden style inspiration? Head to the M&S garden at this year's RHS Chelsea Flower Show between 24 and 28 May.

Called Spirit of Summer: Carnival of Flowers, this year's garden marks the fourth time that M&S are exhibiting at the prestigious show. The exhibit celebrates floral and cultural diversity, showcasing bright and beautiful blooms from around the world.

The garden is being opened by iconic model and M&S ambassador, Twiggy, who, along with her passion for fashion, is an avid gardener.  She has always had wonderful gardens wherever she's lived, especially at her old house in Suffolk, where the garden was filled with bright and beautiful blooms such as passion flowers, wisteria and gardenia.  Twiggy's husband, Leigh, is also a keen gardener, and completely redesigned their two-acre garden.

'We used to have a big vegetable patch in our garden but we'd return form America and 25 cabbages would have come up at the same time - I don't fancy the cabbage soup diet so we had to get rid of most of them!'

Twiggy's favourite flower is the rose and she has always had beautiful pink roses in her gardens.  She loves them them so much that M&S recently launched 'The Twiggy Rose', inspired by the model, which will be available this summer at M&S Online.

So what can you expect at the M&S exhibit? Plenty! Split into four sections to represent four cultures: Britain, Europe, Africa and South America, it depicts vibrant market stalls and street parties.

There's a spectacular arrangement which fuses flowers from each section, celebrating the coming together of people and cultures.

Visitors will be drawn into the centre of the garden, which will depict a street party, with a table laid with bowls and jugs, and flowers arranged to represent food for a fiesta.

If you want to stay true to your British roots, the UK section will include alliums, campanula and begonia; Europe will feature sunflowers, hydrangea, and gladioli; South America will combine roses, stocks and alstromeria, and Africa will mix blooms including carnations, lilies and agapanthus.

The centrepiece will be a showstopping floral pillar, which fuses flowers from each section and symbolises celebrating the joining together of cultures.

Along with being bright and beautiful, the garden is also designed to help educate, and raise awareness on the importance of flower production for economies around the world.

Speaking about this year's offering and how you can create a vibrant garden, M&S flower expert, Simon Richards, said: 'Britain's passion for flowers has gone back centuries and we've always taken inspiration from different parts of the world.

'Many blooms we think of as quintessentially 'British' were actually imported during Victorian times from around the globe: think rhododendron, chrysanthemums and peonies.

'More recently the exotic trend for banana palms and other tender plants had lent an air of the tropics to many gardens. Mixing classic blooms with tropical is becoming more and more on trend. I find that the 'no rules' rule applies - if it works for you then go with it and celebrate a colourful miss-match!

'For those who love exotic blooms, they can have British bred too, with tropical orchids from Hampshire. Originally a rainforest plant, indigenous to South America, Asia and Africa, orchids are now grown for M&S in the New Forest.'

'This summer we are championing flower varieties from around the world; from British classics, to the exotic blooms of South America.

'We are very proud of our dedicated growers both in the UK and further afield. We work with suppliers all over the world, which allows us to chase the sun and source the best flowers, sustainably, all year round.

'We think we'll have the most vibrant exhibit at Chelsea, with bright and beautiful displays which evoke a real sense of celebration!'
