Gold Is The New Black! Ruby Rose dons metallic heeled boots and edgy ensemble as she jets into Los Angeles

She is known to write her own rules when it comes to style and Saturday was no different for Ruby Rose.

The 30-year-old Orange Is The New Black star wore a pair of distinctive gold heeled boots as she negotiated the airport in Los Angeles.

The Australian actress paraded the striking footwear as she made her way through the terminal, after jetting in from San Francisco where she performed a DJ set at the Get Your Denim On show the previous night.

Ruby Rose does tomboy style like the best of 'em so when she was spotted at LAX airport in a graphic tee and distressed denim jacket, we weren't too surprised.

But the Orange Is The New Black star added a seriously luxe touch to her outfit with a pair of Versace ankle boots. The leather boots had a double buckle design and a contrasting gold heel that was adorned with the Italian brand's signature Medusa head.

The John Wick star opted for a casual and comfortable outfit for the transiting journey.

Her effortlessly cool punk-inspired look boasted a tattered denim jacket wtih large rips and tears scattered all over and a frayed hem around the perimeter. 

Strutting her stuff through the airport, with her entourage closely in tow, the Justin Bieber lookalike wore a distinctive T-shirt adorned with a bleeding face which read: 'Fortunate.'

She highlighted her long, trim pins with a pair of fitted black coated leather trousers and finished off her understated jet-setting attire by adorning her chest with a number of silver chains.

The androgynous beauty, known for her arresting model looks, opted for a minimal makeup look for the trip.

The singer and former MTV host seemed in good spirits, pulling a big excited grin as she headed toward the baggage collection counter.

At one point, she even happily stopped to take photographs with keen fans. 

Ruby wasn’t so happy a week ago when she went on an angry Instagram rant against her former music label Universal’s plans to re-release her 2012 song, Guilty Pleasure.
