'And one time I looked. I’ll never forget what night it was because it felt really sh*t. I learned my lesson not to look.'

Accompanying the interview was a sporty editorial spread where the star looks happier and healthier than ever in simple cotton pants and an array of casual crop tops.

The bubbly brunette says her fitness kick has had a positive effect on her mental health and has helped her relax and unwind.

She explained: 'I didn’t want to get skinny, just strong. But actually the best thing about all of this is how I feel. I didn’t realise how much it would change my mindset.'

'Before if I’d had a stressful day I’d go to meet my friends in the pub and have a moan. Now I go to yoga.'.

While she won't be returning to her hosting duties on the Simon Cowell spear-headed talent competition, she is set to resume her role on ITV2's Love Island which sees singletons head to a sunny destination to search for love.
