Pulling out the old moves! Bindi Irwin dances on the red carpet with DWTS partner Derek Hough at LA Gala Dinner and cosies up to boyfriend Chandler Powell

They took out the top title on Dancing With The Stars US in November last year, wowing the judges with near-perfect performances throughout the series.

And as Bindi Irwin and her dance partner Derek Hough were reunited on the red carpet of the Steve Irwin Gala Dinner in Los Angles on Saturday, the pair put on a lively display.

The 17-year-old Bindi was spun and twirled around by her friend as their fancy footwork was once again put on show.

Wearing a black-and-white frock with a cascading leaf pattern, the teen looked effortlessly chic as she smiled for the snappers.

She wore a pair of white heels to complement her outfit, and accessorised with a sparkly silver necklace.

The reigning DWTS champion wore her light brown locks out and highlighted her pout with a cherry red lip.

Derek looked dapper in a black-and-white suit with a nude-hued bow tie.

For the star-studded event, he wore his hair slicked back and sported some light facial hair.

Bindi also posed with her boyfriend Chandler Powell, who looked smart in a pair of camel chinos, a white shirt and a taupe bowtie.

Bindi's mother Terri and brother Robert were also in attendance as they swapped their signature khakis for formalwear.

Terri, 51, looked sophisticated in a scrunched midi-dress made from metallic fabric, adding some glamour with a pair of gold glitter heels.

Robert, 12, looked smart in a black tuxedo with a beige bowtie.

The wildlife warriors held onto a python while they posed on the red carpet, after which they handed it over to other guests.

Joining the iconic Australian family was Olivia Newton-John, singer-songwriter BC Jean, and model and wildlife warrior ambassador Ellie Gonsalves.

'Dad was truly my superhero,' she said recently during an interview with KTLA Morning News.
