Fighting back: Beyonce and Jay Z are reported to have joined forces to respond to the recent Lemonade 'infidelity' drama by recording a secret album together
Speaking to the New York Post's Page Six, a source said: 'Jay and Beyonce were never going to do an interview to address all the questions that came up after Lemonade.
'It's more their style to respond through music.'
The couple first hit headlines after the Formation singer hinted that her husband had been unfaithful in her latest tracks.

She included lyrics such as: 'Looking at my watch he should have been home. I regret the day I put that ring on.'
And: 'This is your final warning, You know I give you life, If you try this s**t again, You gon' lose your wife'
Perhaps most controversially, the superstar singer, used the phrase: 'He better call Becky with the good hair.'

Both Rita Ora and Rachel Roy have been linked to the scathing lyrics, but both publicly denied the claims and showed their support for Beyonce.
Just hours after Beyonce's album premiered, fashion designer Rachel Roy posted a photo of herself on Instagram, writing in the caption; 'Good hair don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always.
‘Live in the light #nodramaqueens.'
That comment sent Beyonce's devoted legion of followers, better known as the Beyhive, into a frenzy, and the group immediately began to attack Roy on her Instagram account and accuse her of having an affair of Jay Z.
Ladies man? Both Rita Ora and Rachel Roy have been accused of having an affair with Jay Z
It was not the first time Roy had been accused of being the other woman in Beyonce's marriage.
Reports of Roy's alleged romance with Jay Z first emerged back in May 2014 after it was rumored that it was the fashion designer's affair with the rapper that was what sent Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles into a rage which ended with her attacking the rapper in the elevator of a New York hotel.
Yet attention soon turned to Rita when fans flocked to social media to accuse the singer of causing trouble in Beyoncé and Jay Z relationship after her bra-baring Snapchat image.
Fueling the fire: Rita wore a gold necklace with the initial 'R', although due to the mirror reflection, some were falsely led some to believe the letter was a 'J'
While the bra was in fact one of many fruit motif items from her collaboration with lingerie label, Tenezis, it was Rita's choice of necklace that truly had 'Queen Bey's fans buzzing with disdain.

Rita's Instagram page was flooded with insults, along with bee and lemon emojis, which is Beyoncé fans' favoured form of attack on social media.
Raising questions: Just hours after Beyonce's album premiered, fashion designer Rachel Roy posted a photo of herself on Instagram, writing in the caption; 'Good hair don’t care'
While the British singer, who is of Albanian-descent, has previously shut down claims she has had affair with her then label boss, fans were quick to share their anger over the affair claims online.
Rita was asked about the affair claims back in 2014 during an appearance on Power 105FM's The Breakfast Club.
Indignant Rita, 23, told DJ Charlamagne Tha God: 'Don't you dare disrespect Beyonce like that ever again in your entire life'.
This isn't the first time that Beyonce and Jay Z will have collaborated, as they have worked on hit tracks such as Bonnie & Clyde, Crazy In Love and Drunk In Love.
However, it was previously believed that Jay Z was working on an album to tell his side of the story, without his wife.
Jay Z, 46, and Beyonce, 34, married in 2008 and they now have four-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, together.
