'I was a rebound from her break up': Angelique 'Frenchy' Morgan confirms she broke up with Gabi Grecko, 26, who is estranged from husband Geoffrey Edelsten

Busty reality TV star Angelique 'Frenchy' Morgan has confirmed that she has split with girlfriend of just over one month, Gabi Grecko.

The 40-year-old bottle blonde said she was the one to call it quits because she was too busy with her music career.

She added she thought she was a 'rebound' for Gabi, 26, who is estranged from Australian businessman husband, Geoffrey Edelsten, 73, telling Daily Mail Australia: 'I'm too busy to be tied down.'

'I think I was rebound for Gabi from her breakup with her ex and I'm very happy if I helped to move on, feel better about her and her ex,' the former exotic dancer from Paris said.

'She is my BFF (Best friend forever) friend (sic) and she knows she can contact me anytime. 

'She is an amazing girl and she deserves someone who can be with her 24/7. I'm too busy to be tied down or [to] date anyone full time.'

The pair first got together early last month and appeared inseparable in recent weeks.  

Angelique said they broke up at the weekend because their careers and the long distance split them up. 

'I decided I want to go separate ways as I'm extremely busy with my new DJ career and my new song and TV show coming up,' she said.

'I don't have time for dating and regardless of this we were never committed in a relationship, we were just having fun dating openly,' she said. 

'Also I live in Malibu and she lives in NYC so we too far to even find time to date with my busy schedule.'

She added she wishes her ex the best and that they will remain friends, adding she sees Gabi as her 'little sister.'

The bombshell also insisted she doesn't date anyone for more than three months.

Speculation the pair had split came on Monday, when Gabi took to social media to post a cryptic quote that read simply: 'goodbye.' 

It caused her Instagram followers to ask if she was okay.

It also appeared that the busty Maxim model removed all pictures of Angelique, with Gabi's Instagram account now only featuring 47 posts - all of her solo.

Two days later, the so-called girlfriends were seen getting acquainted with one another in bed with Gabi exclaiming: 'She's an amazing woman, we're taking things really slow.'

Gabi had only revealed via social media she was bi-sexual a week before flying out to California to meet with Angelique.

In a snub to her controversial ex-husband Gabi claimed that her new girlfriend 'makes (her) happier than anyone else could.'

'I'm really happy, I've waited a long time to meet her after talking and Skyping for so long,' Gabi added. 

Gabi and Geoffrey called it quits in September last year, with Gabi flying back to her native America from the home she shared in Australia with Geoffrey. 

They had tied the knot in June last year in an office manned mostly by Chinese staff in Melbourne.
