'I can't wait to be a mum': Stephanie Davis confirms she's expecting Jeremy McConnell's baby... as she prepares to become a single mother
Stephanie Davis has spoken properly for the first time about her pregnancy, admitting she is prepared to raise her baby as a single mother.
The troubled actress, 23, says is expecting her first child with ex-boyfriend Jeremy McConnell, who she split from this month following a dramatic four month on/off relationship.
Although she originally revealed her pregnancy on Twitter a week ago, the Celebrity Big Brother star soon deleted all tweets relating to her expectant state.

However, speaking to the new issue of OK! magazine, she spoke frankly about her family plans and her hopes the Irish model, 26, would be involved in the child's upbringing.
She said: 'My pregnancy was a shock but I can't wait to be a mum. I hope that Jeremy will want to be a part of this baby's life, but if he decides not to then I am prepared to raise our baby on my own.
'I'm so excited to be a parent, I couldn't be happier.'
Last Tuesday, Jeremy shared a lengthy post on his Instagram page - which has since been deleted - admitting he wasn't sure if he believed Stephanie was pregnant.
He wrote: 'Just to clear if what is circulating is true, I'll always be responsible for my actions and I explained to Steph I'll speak to her, and do everything for her, if she stops drinking and partying knowing she's "pregnant".
'I'm sick of tit for tat but I won't let anyone slander me, I haven't been ideal in the relationship what so ever, I'm trying to move on peacefully, it's a shock to most, but a kid can't fix a broken relationship
Stephanie's interview comes after she was reportedly left 'traumatised' after reportedly being assaulted in a car park.
However, police are not investigating and the alleged attacker was not involved, friends have said.
Rocky: The actress recently split from Irish model Jeremy McConnell, who she fell in love with on Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year
The 'shaken' former Hollyoaks actress was reportedly a victim of an unprovoked attack in her home city of Liverpool over the weekend before being photographed lying dazed on the floor.
The man accused of assaulting her shared the image on Twitter with the caption: 'Just rock bottomed that big brother s**g, pass it on.'
Stephanie's mother Pauline has tweeted to claim that the 'lowlife is getting charged for assault' - but Merseyside Police say it has not been reported to them.
And it has emerged that the alleged attacker is supposed to be a boyfriend of one of Stephanie's friends - and family have defended him to say it had nothing to do with him.
A cousin of the man said on Instagram: 'It wasn't her Friends boyfriend that pushed her (the one in the photo). It was somebody else. Just to set the record straight!
'He didn't push her... she wasn't assaulted, she was knocked whilst people were trying to calm her down', the post said according to The Sun.
The incident came after she had a public falling out with Jeremy, who she claims is her unborn baby's father, and a hospital stay for stress where she ended up on a drip.
Shocking: Stephanie has reportedly been left 'traumatised' and 'shaken' after being assaulted in a car park in Liverpool. The images were then shared on Twitter by her alleged attacker
Defence: The man at the centre of the row is believed to be in a relationship with one of Stephanie's friends - Miss Davis on the left and her friend on the far right
The tweet of her on the ground has been deleted.
Miss Davis has not commented on the alleged assault but a source close to the reality star told MailOnline: 'Steph is traumatised by what happened, she's being extra careful at the moment because of the baby.
'It's really shaken her - she can't believe a stranger could treat her like that. Her family are very concerned for her safety.
'She is stunned someone would do this and share it on social media.'
The Celebrity Big Brother contestant's mother Pauline appeared to back up the reports, lashing out at her daughter's attack on social media.
On her account she wrote: 'You lowlife for assaulting a pregnant woman #gettingchargedmate #witnesses.
'She had just been assaulted and was shocked and shaken and the lowlife who assaulted her took a photo.
Upset: The CBB star's mother took to Twitter herself to lash out at the alleged attacker
'And the lowlife is getting charged for assault... It is currently being dealt with.'
The alleged attack came as Davis, 23, revealed to fans on Twitter that she felt 'suicidal' after lashing out at her ex-boyfriend Jeremy.
Stephanie claimed that he had 'missed the first scan' as well as having a 'major addiction to drugs'.
Beginning her length tirade she wrote: 'U meet one person n wow! What they have been through, impact on ur life n how selfish others are... Wow #respect [sic].'
Continuing her incoherent rant she added: 'A lot of people think they have been through a lot little do they realise they need help and the only people...
'Who need there help are the ones who need there mortgage paying not who really care about a human [sic].'
Struggling: Stephanie posted a photo of herself on a drip in a hospital bed last week
The former Hollyoaks star claimed the stress had been seriously affecting her mental health as she continued: 'To the s**gs who from the past, u want me to not be here anymore as your press as well as being pregnant has made me suicidle [sic].'
She went on to claim her ex-boyfriend had missed her baby scan before accusing him of taking drugs as she wrote: 'Yes I am pregnant yes Jeremy didn’t turn up to the first scan and has a major addiction to drugs.
'Well done for finally ruining my life plus a vile human like Jeremy.'
Last week Stephanie posted pictures from her hospital bed, of her right arm hooked up to a drip, accompanied by the caption: 'Feel alwful (sic) but had an epiphany #notimeforawaister.'
According to The Mirror, the ex soap star also shared and then deleted a cryptic message on Thursday night that hinted at ill health as it read: '#praying #stress #hospital #heartleslyevil'.
Stephanie was recognisable from her right wrist tattoo, which is a date stamp from the month that her beloved grandfather passed away in 2015.
A representative told MailOnline on Friday: 'Stephanie Davis was admitted to hospital last night due to stress. We can confirm that after routine tests Stephanie is fine and is now back at home and resting.'
A source told MailOnline: 'The baby is fine.'
