She has hinted in the past that wedding bells could be on the cards, but Alesha Dixon has now revealed that her boyfriend has stopped proposing to her - because she keeps on saying no.

The Britain's Got Talent judge, 37, says that Azuka Ononye, 35, has run out of ideas when it comes to popping the question after countless attempts.

'He's given up on that,' Alesha told Fabulous magazine. 'We just go with the flow. It's not really something we've discussed.'

The Britain's Got Talent judge has a two-year-old daughter, Azura, with her boyfriend, who is known as AZ

She also denied that the ring worn by her dancer boyfriend, who is known as AZ, is a wedding band.

'It's not a wedding ring, it's just a ring that I bought him on his birthday! We're not married!', she said.

But the mother-of-one added 'never say never' when asked whether marriage would ever be on the cards.

Alesha also revealed that their 'cheeky' daughter Azura, two, has been throwing 'temper tantrums' - which she may have learnt from her mother.

Earlier this year, the singer revealed that she had not ruled out proposing to AZ herself

Alesha said the toddler began 'screaming the place down' in the middle of a restaurant in Dubai during a recent holiday.

'Both of us looked at each other like: "Wow, wow!' So this 'terrible twos' is a real thing",' she said.

Earlier this year, the singer said that she had not ruled out proposing to AZ, her partner of six years.

Speaking on the Jonathan Ross Show, she said: 'I wouldn’t rule out ever proposing to him. I’m not in a rush to get married but I would definitely be open minded to it - why not?'

She was previously left heartbroken back in 2007 when her husband of one year, So Solid Crew's MC Harvey, cheated on her with singer Javine Hylton

The star has been a judge on Britain's Got Talent since 2012 alongside Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell and David Walliams

She added that she had taken AZ's proposals as a joke, saying: 'Unless he’s down on one knee with a ring then I’m not going to take him seriously.'

The pair met ten years ago while Alesha was touring and were friends at first. The singer said she played 'hard to get' for a year before she gave in to his advances.

She was previously left heartbroken back in 2007 when her husband of one year, So Solid Crew's MC Harvey, cheated on her with singer Javine Hylton.
