David Hasselhoff claims he has less than $4,000 to his name as he goes to court to cut ex-wife Pamela Bach's $252k a year spousal support

He made a fortune from roles in Knight Rider and hit TV series Baywatch, which ran for 10 years.

But actor David Hasselhoff now claims he has less than $4,000 to his name and isn't earning enough to pay his ex-wife Pamela Bach $252,000 a year in spousal support.

And the 63-year-old is fighting in court for the right to cut it, TMZ reported on Friday.

The website got hold of legal documents that showed The Hoff grosses $112,000 a month but spends $66,000.

When you add the $21,000 52-year-old Pam gets each month plus taxes and living expenses, he says he has little left over.

The Sharknado 3 star lists $1.79 million in total assets including real estate, retirement savings, cars, jewelry and art.

Pam has hit back, claiming her ex is worth more than $120 million as he has property all over the world and is still working.

But David revealed that his European singing tour was cut short because of poor ticket sales.

However, he is presently starring in British quasi-reality show, Hoff The Record, and has a part in the movie remake of Baywatch, starring Dwayne Johnson as Mitch Buchanon, the L.A. County lifeguard that David famously played in the TV series.

David and Pam were married from 1989 to 2006 after meeting on the set of Knight Rider. He cited irreconcilable differences for the split.

The couple have two grown daughters, Taylor Ann, 26, and Hayley, 23.

There will be a court hearing at the end of the month to consider the matter, according to TMZ.

Meanwhile, David is ready for his third trip down the aisle after popping the question to his Welsh girlfriend of five years, Hayley Roberts, earlier this month, according to Hello! Magazine.

It happened during a picnic on a beach in Malibu, much to the surprise of the 36-year-old blonde beauty.

'I thought he was just joking around at first. He's asked me before, but it was never for real. Then he pulled out the ring. I cried so hard that he didn't get around to actually asking, "Will you marry me?" until about 10 minutes later.'

The couple met when he was on the judging panel of Britain’s Got Talent.
