A picture taken of Scott's sleeping bag revealed that Courteney was not the only famous person to have signed on the bag as a message from rocker Pete Doherty was also visible.

American actress Courteney had put on a typically stylish display on the night as she showed off her legs in a caped black dress.

Her 39-year-old partner was sartorially in sync as he cut a dapper figure in a black suit teamed with a black shirt and navy tie.

Courteney recently injected some Hollywood glamour into the Ivor Novello Awards earlier in the month.

The Friends star stole the show at the usually subdued event in more than one way - she suffered a wardrobe malfunction and flashed her thong underwear in a sheer skirt.

The brunette beauty looked chic in a simple ensemble, which featured a fitted shirt tied at the waist and a long maxi.

But when the camera flashed turned on her - she was left flashing as well.

The Friends actress was an unexpected guest at the bash as she turned out to support her on-again fiancé Johnny McDaid at the prizegiving.

He was one of the writers nominated for Best Song as part of the team behind Ed Sheeran's Bloodstream.

However, the Snow Patrol rocker let his lady take centre stage as Courteney arrived solo before being joined by a male pal.

She was just one of the big names at the event, which celebrates the best of British music.

Before the prizes were handed out, the guitarist-and-songwriter vowed to set a date for his wedding to the former 'Friends' actress if he won.

Johnny told Bang Showbiz: 'If we win today I'll set a date.'

However, the guys lost out to Jamie Lawson - who is signed to Ed's Gingerbread Man Records - who was honored for his track 'I Wasn't Expecting That'.

Copy Courteney with her chic Saint Laurent crossbody

Courteney's style has been on our radar for years. She loves a good monochromatic color scheme, injecting flashes of sexiness it subtle ways.

So when she stepped out today in this black and white ensemble, it seemed pretty par for the course. Regardless of how stunning Courteney looked, we don't see ourselves wearing a sheer maxi skirt anytime soon, but that's because all ours were on her Saint Laurent cross-body purse.

This tiny little style champion makes a statement with it's shiny gold hardware and chain tassel detail.

Johnny did reveal if he and Courteney, do decide to tie the knot then all of his Snow Patrol bandmates - Gary, Johnny Quinn, Paul Wilson and Nathan Connolly - will be his best men.

He said: 'All these guys in Snow Patrol are my best men. I know they've got some dodgy photographs, you can't burn a JPEG!'

Johnny and Courteney ended their relationship last December, 18 months after they got engaged before reuniting to try and make things work.
