Despite her status as one of Australia's up-and-coming models, Bridget Malcolm has decided that her forthcoming nuptials to musician Nathaniel Hoho will be a low-key affair.

The 23-year-old told The Sydney Morning Herald their wedding will not be a celebrity function - and has ruled out inviting fellow Victoria's Secret Angels Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner.

Despite making their debut for the US lingerie brand together back in November, Bridget has said that only 'family' and 'closest friends will be flying in' for the Pennsylvania ceremony in July.

Speaking ahead of the Oscar de la Renta runway show at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia 2016 on Friday, Bridget spoke frankly about her low-key wedding plans.

When asked about the possibility of a high-profile guest list, including her pals Gigi and Kendall, the Perth model told the newspaper: 'No, it's not going to be anything like that.'

She also revealed that she will be walking up the aisle in a 'sexy' and unconventional wedding gown by Australian fashion label Lover.

Bridget also explained why she feels ready to get married at such a young age - but said she and rock musician Nathaniel are not planning to have children any time soon.

She said: 'I really feel that he's the one. He is the only person on this planet that I want to spend the rest of my life with,' adding: 'I am really OK with spending the rest of my life with him.'

'I want to have kids definitely,' she continued. 'It's on the horizon but I am still a kid myself, I have a few more years of being a kid.'

Bridget has been dating Nathaniel - the lead singer and guitarist of New York rock band Walking Shapes - for two years but they have known each other for approximately five years.

She previously told Daily Mail Australia that the couple are actually planning to have 'two weddings'.

'He’s a Pennsylvania boy so we are going to have one (on) July 23rd, and one in Perth so two summer weddings,' she said.
