BGT-Total? David Walliams tests Alesha Dixon's water on Britain's Got Talent... as the judges make playful jibes at her questionable opinions

There seemed to be something in the water on Monday night as the Britain's Got Talent judges accused Alesha Dixon of making a few funny calls on the panel.

And joker David Walliams was convinced that 'water' wasn't the only thing in the former Mis-Teeq singer's glass, since he proceeded to spit it out after giving it a test.

Alesha, 37, left David aghast when she told energetic dance group Mythical PSM that she almost buzzed them off the stage during the semi-final.

Alesha told the trio: 'I really like you guys and you have definitely improved, but if I'm being really honest half way through I nearly buzzed you.

'I'm sorry...because I just felt the energy had really dropped.'

In response, a playful David picked up the singer's drink and took a sip, before spitting it out again with a revolted expression.

Although Amanda Holden laughed at the jibe, earlier in the show all three of the judges came under fire from Simon Cowell, who couldn't believe that they had enjoyed Anne and Ian Marshall's theatrical rendition of Lady Gaga's Bad Romance.

He said: '[The audience] were on their feet because they were trying to leave. I'm not being rude guys, it's like you three are drunk or something.'

However, the other panelists remained true to their opinions as Alesha said: 'I thought it was a fantastic opening to the show and you really went for it.

David was so enthused that he chose to use his golden buzzer on the pair, stating: 'I'm completely overcome. It was absolutely fantastic. It was really sexy.'

Alesha worked her way through a bottle of wine on the programme and offered her - extremely frank - thoughts on Strictly romances, the X Factor, and whether dancers are better in bed over the course of the rambunctious interview. 

After describing everyone on Strictly as 'horny' and 'gagging for it', an embarrassed Alesha took to Twitter to apologise.

She said: 'Apologies for being pickled on Alan Carr! I did have fun though!'

'I am officially a light weight and clearly a cheap date!'
