She's known to flaunt her slender curves as a glamourous Victoria's Secret 'angel'.

But Australian model Kelly Gale proved she's just like an ordinary 21-year-old after she was caught taking a mid-afternoon nap after a big family lunch.

The Swedish-born beauty shared an Instagram snap on Tuesday showing herself asleep in a very unusual position on the sofa.

It would seem the New York-based lingerie model was enjoying some R&R in-between travelling the globe for fashion brands.

She captioned the snap: 'Finally at my familys house for family dinner and little brother... caught me asleep on The couch exhausted from traveling' (sic).

Kelly also added the hash-tag: 'Who the f*** naps like that?!', 'That nap though' and, rather amusingly, 'Watermelon coma'

Meanwhile, Kelly recently added another name to her long list of A-list collaborators - Latin pop superstar Enrique Iglesias.

Last month, she spent several days in Panama filming the 41-year-old's new music video - and teased her Instagram fans with a busty bikini snap in-between takes.

Kelly, who is of Indian and Australian descent, kept her 423,000 social media followers up-to-date with her overseas trip.

Posing her hotel bathroom, Kelly struck a pouting pose for the camera while performing the peace hand symbol, alongside the caption: 'Pool break on set'.

Concealing her gaze behind a pair of dark sunglasses, she displayed plenty of cleavage and a remarkably well-toned tummy in the floral number.

Meanwhile, her flawless, gravity-defying assets have led to some social media speculation last year that Kelly had breast enlargement surgery.

In December, some of the lingerie model's Instagram followers suggested that she'd secretly gone under the knife after she shared a particularly busty snap taken in the shower.

But she quickly hit back on the image-sharing website, declaring: 'I have never undergone any plastic surgery on my body in any way. Like it or not, this is the way I look,'
