Cockroach-infested rooms, urine-soaked floors and human feces everywhere: Florida couple loses their kids for a SECOND time after police find them in putrid home
- Officers visited the West Palm Beach home of Travis and Robin Royall
- On Friday the couple was arrested for 'deplorable conditions' in the home
- Two young children were sleeping in a roach-infested room with no A/C
- The children were removed and the couple was ordered to clean the house
- Travis and Robin Royall have been charged with one count of child neglect
- This is the second time the Royalls have lost custody of their children
Before Palm Beach Sheriff's deputies entered the home of Travis and Robin Royall on Friday, they could smell the putrid odor of urine emanating from the residence.
What they found inside made the Florida deputies stomach turn - thousands of cockroaches, piles of human feces and trash stacked wall-to-wall.
But what horrified them the most were the two young children sleeping in a spider- and roach-infested room with no air conditioning or running water and a gaping hole in the roof overhead.
The Royalls had already lost custody of the children once in 2012 because of the home's deplorable condition.
Over the weekend, when the officers found a urine-soaked floor and a toilet that looked as if it hadn't been flushed in weeks, the couple lost their children again.

'When I opened the fridge, you could barely see the bottom of the drawers and shelves due to the amount of dead cockroaches, bugs and cockroach eggs.
'When I opened the oven, about 100 cockroaches fell down and began scattering.
'The oven was full of discarded food and appeared to not have been cleaned for years,' a deputy wrote in a police report.
The Department of Children and Families removed the Royalls’ two children from their home over the weekend, according to the Palm Beach Post, and each parent is facing a count of child neglect.
Police officers with the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office said they were disgusted with the home and 'couldn't believe their eyes'
This is the third time the Department of Children and Families visited the home and the second time the Royalls have lost custody of their children
Friday's visit to the home was the DCF's third response to the family.
Officers demanded the couple clean the home, and over the weekend Travis Royall, his father and siblings removed at least two trailers of trash from the single-family home, the Palm Beach Post reported.
Robert Royall, Travis's father, gathered his family to help clean the house.
They had plans to take away more items on Monday after the initial haul removed furniture, tires and wood, in addition to garbage.
The family released a statement to the Post about the condition of the home and the status of the children.

'We would like to thank our friends, family and members of the community for their kind words and support during this difficult time.
'The children are thriving, safe and staying with a family member. We are fully cooperating with the Department of Children and Families and will continue to do so throughout this ordeal.
'We encourage DCF to take a very proactive role in this case and we will comply with their requirements.
'We ask that you please respect the privacy of the children not only for their safety but also so the family can work to heal,' they wrote.
