Moscow's Aragvi restaurant, once the legendary haunt of KGB spies and cosmonauts, has reopened with its Soviet-era grandeur restored. The high-end eatery on the main Tverskaya street, which opened in 1938 at the height of Stalin's purges, has relaunched under the same name after a $20 million (17 million euros) restoration. The restaurant opened on the initiative of Stalin's notorious security chief Lavrenty Beria for the use of officials from his NKVD agency, the Soviet secret service later renamed the KGB.

An unnamed woman has found an ingenious way to punish her ex boyfriend for cheating on her, by sending him spoilers for Game of Thrones every Monday before he can watch it. Despite him attempting to block her, she made fake accounts across several platforms to continue her revenge. In a post to Reddit (inset), the man asked for advice on how to make her stop sending the spoilers but only received scorn from commenters, who called him a 'cheating a**hole'. The post quickly went viral, with people calling the woman a hero and praising her techniques.

After knocking down one of the last vestiges of Cold War antagonism with a former war enemy, President Barack Obama on Tuesday took his push for closer ties directly to the Vietnamese people, meeting with activists and entrepreneurs.  Amid the geopolitical statecraft, he faces calls to more strongly address what's seen as an abysmal human rights record. Obama spoke with 10 activists Tuesday, including advocates for the disabled, sexual minorities, a pastor and advocates for freedom of speech, press and the Internet, but he said that several others were prevented from coming.

Phelps admitted that he had only changed his son's diaper once since he was born on May 5. 'I changed my first diaper today,' the 30-year-old swimming star said. This is the third time the family has been visited by the Department of Children and Families and the second time they lost custody of their two young sons. Palm Beach Sheriff's officers were horrified by the scene, writing in a report that there were 'millions' of bugs in the home and so many roach eggs in the fridge, they couldn't see the bottom of the drawers. The home also had no air conditioning and no running water. Officers demanded the couple clean the home, and over the weekend Travis Royall, his father and siblings removed at least two trailers of trash from the single-family home.

Paula Deen, 68, headed to court last month to void a deed transfer she had previously made in which she gave all rights to her Wilmington Island, Georgia, property to her husband of 11 years, tugboat captain Michael Groover. Deen had granted Groover the deed to their three-bedroom, three-bathroom, 5,646-square-foot home in January 2015, according to documents filed in a Georgia court. Following the deed transfer, divorce rumors swirled for months. But documents filed on April 8 show that Deen has filed a cancellation of erroneous deed in the Georgia court, saying the transfer was made, executed and delivered by error and an misunderstanding between the couple. Deen's Food Network cooking show was canceled in 2013 after she caught making a racist slur.

Bobbi and her husband Kenny declined selective reduction after learning they were pregnant with seven children following fertility treatment, saying it was 'in God's hands'. They received generous donations including a 5,500 square foot home, a van, a year's worth of Kraft's macaroni and cheese, and free diapers for the first two years. Among the offers was a full ride to Hannibal-LaGrange University in Missouri, which some of the McCaughey children are cashing in 18 years later. Wagner gave birth to Hammann in April 1933 after spending three months in a home for women planning to give up their babies for adoption. Hammann's daughter-in-law, Jeanette Foster, traced down Wagner online, using information from the adoption papers. She found an obituary for Wagner's brother, which listed her as one of his surviving relatives. Wagner had never told her two children about her rape or about their third sibling because she worried about how it could affect them.

U.S. Marine Corps Master Sgt. Randy Brock returned from six months training in Japan on May 12. The following day, his 10-year-old son AJ was pitching in a mock baseball scrimmage at Wheatfield Park in Menifee, California. Randy donned bulky umpire gear and a mask to take to the field with his boy before taking off his mask for the big reveal.

Kind hearted Florence Welch stopped by a hospice to give a private performance to a sick teenager who missed one of her concerts. The 29-year-old held the hand of 15-year-old cancer patient Karinya Chen as she sang Shake It Out and Dog Days Are Over backed by bandmate Rob Ackroyd on guitar. The sweet moment came as Welch, who performs as Florence And The Machine, stopped by Hospice Austin's Christopher House in Texas on Friday

Footage has emerged of a monster great white shark launching out of the water just metres from divers in a cage (left). The apex predator put on an impressive show for the crowd, stealthily stalking the metal cage (inset) before making two breaches (right) above the surface. It's believed the video was filmed at Gansbaii, a fishing town in South Africa known for its dense population of great white sharks.

Disney princesses are coming over all mumsy, thanks to these creative illustrations by Boston artist and 'Disney mash-up guy' Isaiah Keith Stephens. Belle (left), Aurora (bottom right), and Ariel (top right) have been reincarnated as mothers in the cartoon pictures, as they have been made to look like they are either pregnant, giving birth, breastfeeding or feeding a new baby.

Mother-of-two Deva Dalporto, from San Francisco Bay Area, has created a rap song and music video as an ode to her yoga pants. The video has become an online hit with over four million views. The video shows Deva, pictured in the blue top, and her friends dancing in their yoga pants to her rap song which professes her love for the garment.

A video of a baby and puppy cuddling in a swing proves you're never too young to see a dog as 'man's best friend'. In the video the dog wears pajamas and drapes its paw over the baby as they pair rock back and forth. As the swing goes back and forth the baby looks cheerfully at the camera, while the puppy appears to be so relaxed with its friend it might fall asleep. During the 15 second clip, a woman's voice can be heard asking the baby if it loves its puppy companion. The baby smiles back at the woman as the content pup blinks lazily.

Members of AnimaNaturalis (pictured) in Spain took off their clothes, daubed themselves in fake blood, stepped into polysterene trays and allowed themselves to be wrapped in clingfilm. The bizarre demonstration took place in the Sant Jaume plaza (pictured) in Barcelona, the first city in the world to declare itself vegan-friendly. The 20 activists wanted to make a dramatic plea to people to adopt a meat-free diet, free from animal exploitation and any suffering. They agreed to become packaged meat to raise public awareness and to remind Barcelona's city council that their pledge should mean actions and not just words. 'We wanted to draw the attention of the authorities,' said Aïda Gascón, director of AnimaNaturalis in Spain. 'They pledged in March to join global activities such as Paul McCartney's campaign Meatless Monday but have not yet implemented anything else.'
