'I've been stabbed in the back': Tamar Braxton leaves The Real after saying she 'stupidly trusted' someone and warns them to 'watch their back'

Tamar Braxton has parted ways with daytime talk show The Real.

But just one day before the announcement was made the singer posted a cryptic message on Instagram where she claimed an unnamed person had betrayed her.

The 39-year-old star blamed her leaving the show on someone who she 'stupidly trusted' and was 'stabbed in the back.'

The TV personality shared a snapshot of her with older sister Toni who comforted her and wrote: 'I love u all but I have been stabbed in the back by someone I stupidly trusted (not my man or my sisters).'

'I am not about to be tried and tested to snitch and it's not in good taste to tell you who,' she continued. 'But as #tamartians you are very smart and can figure things out on your own.'

Tamar co-hosted on the Emmy nominated show alongside Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Tamera Mowry-Housley.

The Braxton Family Values reality star then sends out a serious threat: '(Remember who u are).... And if you thought for 1 sec u played me...you PLAYED yourself... I will be taking a short break from ALL social media...until then [love] yourself and WATCH YOUR BACK.'

'The Real and Tamar Braxton have mutually decided that Tamar will not be continuing with the show for its upcoming third season,' Braxton and a rep for The Real said in a statement to E! News.

'She will be leaving in order to concentrate on her solo career,' they continued.

'Everyone associated with The Real appreciates Tamar's efforts and the contributions she has made to the show's success, and we wish her all the best for the future.'

Tamar has co-hosted the show - which is currently on its second season - since its 2013 debut and is the first cast member to make a departure.
