He told two hopefuls he loved them in the 20th season of ABC's The Bachelor.

And Ben Higgins broke Joelle 'JoJo' Fletcher's heart when he chose Lauren Bushnell over her at the final rose giving ceremony.

Now she has revealed that he 'was one of the greatest loves of my life,' in an interview with People, released on Monday, just hours before making her debut in The Bachelorette.

Six months after the event, the 25-year-old real estate agent from Dallas said: 'I don't have any resentment.

'The memories of him still pop up, but in positive ways. I don't have any anger because The Bachelor was a time in my life where I grew so much.'

JoJo continued: 'I don't think I'll ever forget the moment we broke up. But I learned from the experience.

'And seeing Ben's relationship with Lauren helped me accept what it is and be happy with the outcome.'

Now the brunette beauty will have 26 men vying for her hand when The Bachelorette kicks off on Monday evening on ABC.

In the morning, she was busy promoting the new series on GMA and Live With Kelly, where she refused to reveal whether or not she is now engaged to one her beaus.

'I can’t confirm or deny that,' JoJo said. 'I’m happy and I would do it again in a heartbeat.'

And she cut 28-year-old Ben some slack, saying: 'Going through this, it makes so much more sense.'

Meanwhile, Us Weekly reported that Ben and Lauren are planning a summer wedding that will be televised on ABC.
