Part of the trick of making her clothing and accessories empire so successful is that she actually wears the items she makes.

And Monday was no different as Jessica Simpson posted several photos to jessicasimpson.com where she was in the bathing suits she designed.

One of the shots was posted to the 35-year-old beauty's Instagram account where she added the caption, 'Sun's out, buns out.'

The Dukes Of Hazzard star appeared to be in her back yard.

This comes days after she wore a tight dress for a lunch date with husband Eric Johnson.

The Texas born singer stunned in a skintight nude mini dress and gladiator heel sandals as the pair headed in to Chinese restaurant Mr. Chow in Malibu on Thursday. 

Leaving little to the imagination in her sexy, skintight outfit, Jessica looked absolutely smitten with her beau, former American football player Eric Johnson, 36, smiling with pride as they walked arm in arm.

Jessica recently talked about her upcoming projects to Huffington Post.

She revealed last month: 'I’m back in the studio — I’ve been in the studio all week.It’s been a very exciting time to rediscover music and I definitely have so much inspiration.

'I’ve been in the music business for so long, and it’s interesting to see what I come up with as a mom and the perspective I have after all the records I have made and all the life situations I’ve been through.'

'There’s a lot to talk about. There’s a lot to sing about. There’s a lot I feel like people will relate to.'
