The Argentinian-born Dutch Queen attended The Innovation Summit to speak to female entrepreneurs in Amsterdam but got caught in a downpour before she arrived at the venue.
But the royal made light of the drizzly day and pulled shocked faces as she walked through the rain in a teal lace midi-dress with nude heels and an oatmeal pashmina to keep her arms warm.
An aide came to the rescue with a multi-coloured umbrella to keep the Queen's straight blonde hair in place but unfortunately the wet weather left her tresses looking less than pristine.
