Anthony LaPaglia and ex-wife Gia Carides sell their Los Angeles marital home for $11m... a year after he filed for divorce and started dating woman 30 YEARS his junior
Anthony LaPaglia and ex-wife Gia Carides have sold their marital home in Los Angeles for significantly less than the earlier asking price.
The former couple had been married for 17 years before LaPaglia filed for divorce in March last year - and the Without A Trace star, 57, subsequently began dating Alexandra Henkel, 26.
The luxury Brentwood Park property sold for AUD$11million ($8.2million US), according to Variety - six months after it was put on the market in November at around AUD15.2million ($11 million US).

LaPaglia and Carides, 51, reportedly owned the secluded residence in California for over 15 years, after buying in 2000 for around AUD$6.15million ($4.45million US).
However the recent Variety report contradicts this, claiming the Australian actors actually purchased the secluded residence in 2003 'for an undisclosed amount', according to property records.
In the architectural style of a 1940's American farmhouse, and 'surrounded by multi-million dollar homes', the exceptionally private property sits on a sweeping half-acre plot of land.

The main structure boasts five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a children's wing, formal living and dining rooms, and a library nook.
It also features a rustic Provencal-style kitchen, which gets drenched in morning light, a separate guest house, staff quarters, a red bricked pool, sports court and sprawling green lawns.
Realtor Juliette Hohnen, one of the Wall Street Journal's top 250 realtors in the US, said in the property's listing: 'This is the private celebrity compound you have been looking for.'

It was listed with agents Douglas Elliman, which has sold houses for Richard Gere and countless other A-list celebrities.
Anthony, who resides in California, wed Gia in 1998 after they starred together in the 1994 Australian film Lucky Break, known as Paperback Romance in America.
According to TMZ, the Looking For Alibrandi actor filed legal documents in the US last year citing irreconcilable differences.

The publication revealed there is no prenuptial agreement and Anthony was asking for joint custody of their daughter Bridget and is also agreeing to pay spousal and child support.
In 2009, Anthony penned a piece for Sunday Life, revealing he was a 'shy Adelaide boy and a slow starter when it came to girls.'
'Seriously, the more I learn about women, the less I understand them,' he wrote at the time.
