To seal the deal each finalist danced one more time, in a routine they’d learned in just 24 hours.

Ginger and Val went first – with an Argentine tango fused with a foxtrot.

Len told her she’d ‘lost the routine a little bit’ but noted her massive improvements over the weeks.

‘You have blossomed in front of our eyes, you are a beautiful ballroom dancer,’ agreed Carrie Ann who thought she made a great comeback after the ‘mistake’.

They scored 27.

‘Hopefully we can bring the mirrorball home for his 30th birthday,’ said Paige, who cartwheeled flamboyantly at the end of the routine.

‘If this was judged purely on dance then you’re the one to beat,’ said Len.

‘You’re se*y and you know it, I can see you teasing me with another knockout performance,’ shouted Bruno.

They achieved 30.
