Moving on! Gavin Rossdale 'picks up swanky $7.6m bachelor pad in foothills above Studio City'

He was previously reported to be renting a house in Bel-Air after moving out of his and ex-wife Gwen Stefani's $13.25million property between Beverly Hills and Studio City.

But now Gavin Rossdale has reportedly shelled out $7.6million for a new bachelor pad in the pricey foothills above Studio City, as reported by Variety.

The 50-year-old is said to have acquired the six-bedroom, 6.5 bathroom bachelor pad according to listing agent Roger Perry with Rodeo Realty.

Settling down: The Bush frontman (pictured on Tuesday) had previously been renting a home in Beverly Hills after moving out of the mansion he shared with ex Gwen Stefani

The flashy, modern home sits at the end of a gated driveway and boasts panoramic views of the San Fernando Valley.

It is just under 8,000 square feet, and features a glass-walled, open floor plan with a double-height living room with a fireplace.

The father-of-four's new place also features a sleek kitchen with a climate-controlled wine room, and a family room with a wet bar.

The stylish bar leads to a spacious deck and terraced backyard which also has an outdoor kitchen, swimming pool, and an impressive three fire pits.

And everything in the sophisticated estate is protected with a comprehensive home automation system and state-of-the-art security.

Surprisingly enough, one thing the spacious plot is missing is a tennis court, despite the fact that Gavin is reportedly a die-hard player and fan.

The purchase comes after Gavin moved out of his and Gwen's guard-gated Summit enclave for a rented house in Bel-Air following their split.

And though he moved out, the lead singer of the 1990s rock band Bush and ex Gwen continue to co-own their 12,000 square foot estate.

They had purchased the property in 2006 for $13.25 million from hospitality entrepreneur Sam Nazarian.

The luxurious estate was previously owned by Jennifer Lopez.

Gavin and Gwen had announced their plans to divorce - after 13 years of marriage - in a joint statement shared this past August.

Gwen - with whom Gavin shares sons nine-year-old Kingston, seven-year-old Zuma, and two-year-old Apollo - has since struck up a relationship with fellow The Voice judge Blake Shelton.

The pair have even released a duet together - Go Ahead and Break My Heart - which they just performed at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards.

Meanwhile, Gavin is also father of British model Daisy Lowe following a fling with her mother Pearl Lowe in the late 1980s - before he started dating Gwen.
