Model with vitiligo Winnie Harlow puts on a leggy show in daring black dress as she lights up Swarovski event

The night was supposed to be all about the jewellery.

However, model Winnie Harlow managed to distract from the gems as she put on a sexy show in a daring black dress at the Swarovski party in New York on Tuesday.

The Canadian beauty, who suffers from the skin condition vitiligo, showed off her fabulous figure in an off-the-shoulder number with thigh-high split.

The 21-year-old, who shot to fame on America's Next Top Model, teamed her dress with a pair of black cage heels and lots of rings and bracelets - presumably by Swarovski.

Winnie was one of a host of stars who attended the Swarovski #bebrilliant party at The Weather Room at Top of the Rock.

The event was celebrating the appointment of Karlie Kloss as the new ambassador for the brand, taking over from previous spokesmodel Miranda Kerr.

Her red carpet appearance came after Winnie jetted to Australia earlier this month to appear at Sydney Fashion week.

Last month, it was revealed Winnie had made a cameo in Beyonce's new visual album Lemonade.

However, she admitted her cameo in the politically-charged track Freedom nearly didn't happen after her agent didn't return Beyonce's call.

She told W magazine: 'I was actually contacted by their [Beyonce's] team a couple weeks prior but my agent at the time didn’t get back to them because they wouldn’t tell us much about the project.'

Then a day before the shoot, Beyonce's people called Winnie's again, saying: 'Beyoncé wants you. Can you fly to New Orleans tomorrow?'

During Winnie's cameo, she holds a photo of her grandfather alongside the mothers of Trayvon Martin, Mike Brown and Eric Garner - African American men shot dead by US police officers - who are showing images of their late sons.

Speaking about her chat to Beyonce on the video set, Winnie said: 'I wanted to thank her for acknowledging me as a strong black woman and uplifting and continuing to empower us all. That made her so happy.'
