The singer first performed in Minnesota during the Verizon Ladies First Tour in 2004.

She returned in 2009 as part of her I Am... World Tour, and most recently performed in the state in 2013, during the Mrs Carter Show World Tour.

The declaration of Bey Day comes just before her Formation World Tour performance scheduled at the TCF Bank Stadium at 7pm.

Thousands of fans have gathered at the stadium but forecasts are showing that a storm threatens to dampen spirits.

Many fans are preparing for a downpour as WCCO meteorologist Mike Augustyniak says there’s a possibility for severe storms, potentially bringing hail, according to CBS.

Forecasts say that the highest threat for storms, which will be widespread, will be in the early evening, approximately when Beyoncé is scheduled to take the stage.

But Beyonce and Jay Z are reported to have joined forces to respond to the drama by recording a secret album together.

The husband and wife are yet to speak out publicly about the rumors surrounding their relationship but the latest LP is believed to reveal all and is set for release on Tidal in the near future.

Speaking to the New York Post's Page Six, a source said: 'Jay and Beyonce were never going to do an interview to address all the questions that came up after Lemonade.

'It's more their style to respond through music.'

The couple first hit headlines after the Formation singer hinted that her husband had been unfaithful in her latest tracks.

This isn't the first time that Beyonce and Jay Z will have collaborated, as they have worked on hit tracks such as Bonnie & Clyde, Crazy In Love and Drunk In Love.

However, it was previously believed that Jay Z was working on an album to tell his side of the story, without his wife.

Jay Z and Beyonce married in 2008 and they now have four-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, together.
