It's the season for transformation! Take a cue from Chrissy Teigen's asymmetrical bob cut or Emma Stone's platinum dye job and dare to switch up your hair for summer

There's nothing like a new season to inspire a fresh new haircut or color, and with the unofficial start of summer upon us, the stars seem to be flocking to their salons in droves. 

This week, a recently brunette Emma Stone, 27, stepped out with a platinum 'do, joining Kristen Stewart, 26, Jennifer Lawrence, 25, and Taylor Swift, 26, in the Cropped Blonde Club.

On the other end of the spectrum is Chrissy Teigen, 30, who got an asymmetrical cut over the weekend that those who aren't totally ready to give up their length will love.

LEAST DRASTIC: The 'Don't Cut the Front' Cut

Chirssy is bringing the asymmetrical bob back, but in a beach-ier, more fun way.

Instead of a severe, blunt cut, hairstylist Jen Atkin gave the style a textured, piecey look, and colorist Tracey Cunningham added some fresh, sun-kissed highlights that scream 'summer'.

On her Instagram feed, Jen dubbed the finished look, the 'Don't Cut the Front' haircut.

SLIGHTLY DRASTIC: The Effortless Bob

For a low-maintenance look that won't weigh you down this summer, consider cutting your hair into a bob a la Miranda Kerr, 33, and Rihanna, 28. 

'It's really nice for a change - it feels really fresh. When I'm not working, I generally let my hair air dry,' Miranda told Harper's Bazaar after getting the chop earlier this year. 

Rihanna's hairstylist Yusef Williams called the curly crop he created for her for Sunday's Billboard Music Awards, 'simplicity at its best'.

PRETTY DRASTIC: Long Bangs

There's no better way to refresh your look than with bangs, but it's not the easiest style to manage - especially when you've got heat and humidity to contend with.

Going for an eyebrow-grazing length as seen on Bella Hadid, 19, and Georgia May Jagger, 24, is not only versatile, but makes taking the plunge seem less daunting 

Or, as it appears Bella opted for in Cannes last week, there's always clip-ins.

'Isn't it fun to change up our hair to our different personalities like we do with make-up, nails, and clothes?' wrote hairstylist Jen Atkin on an Instagram post of the look she created for the model.

VERY DRASTIC: Fiery Hair

Actress Lily Collins, 27, recently dyed her dark brown hair a bold shade of red, while blonde actresses Brie Larson, 26, and Emma Roberts, 25, have both switched things up with light copper colors.

'Red is a statement, it stands out, it's young and fresh and isn't typical,' said Cutler/Redken celebrity colorist Rachel Bodt. 'We are out in the sun so much [in the summer], the hair will most likely oxidize to warm, sometimes brassy tones, adding that extra hint of red, copper or even gold. This way, you aren't fighting what Mother Nature is already doing.'

MOST DRASTIC: The Bleach Blonde Bob

Taylor Swift  isn't the only bleach blonde with a bob in town. Jennifer Lawrence is an icy shade of platinum now, as is Kristen Stewart.

The latter told People magazine that she was anxious to change her look after completing an impressive string of five films over the past two years. 

The latest member of the expanding club is Emma Stone, who was most recently a brunette for her role in the upcoming film, Battle of the Sexes. 

Emma's colorist Tracey Cunningham revealed to Glamour that the secret to achieving platinum strands without the damage is the hair treatment Olaplex. 'Ask your colorist if she or he is using Olaplex 1 and 2 during the lightening process,' she advises.
