He says he's single! Kylie Jenner's ex Tyga insists he does not have a girlfriend after showing off lingerie model Demi Rose Mawby in Cannes 

Tyga claims he is single.

The 26-year-old singer has been spotted with lingerie model Demi Rose Mawby following his recent split from Kylie Jenner, 18, but Tyga took to Twitter to insist that he is not dating anyone new.

He tweeted: 'Single. Focused. Blessed. Living Life (sic).'

Meanwhile, it was recently claimed that Kylie has been trying to make Tyga jealous by spending time with rapper PartyNextDoor, 22, whose real name is Jahron Brathwaite.

A source said: 'They are just friends and there is nothing serious going on between them. She is hanging out with him to make Tyga jealous.

'She knows these other girls don't really have much on her. She is super confident about what she has to offer, so she doesn't let it affect her too much. She's taking everything one step at a time right now as she is still hurt by the situation, but in no way will she let it drag her down.'

And another source said: 'Tyga was a big part of her life for years and it's not easy to see him messing around with a bunch of models now, especially when they had such major trust issues.

'But she's trying to live her own life and not pay attention to all of that.'

Meanwhile, Rack City hitmaker Tyga recently admitted he 'still loves' Kylie.

When asked if the difference in age played a factor in their break up, he said: 'Um, uh, I think, you know, we're both just focusing on our lives, our individual lives right now, you know? Sometimes things don't work out. But, you know, I love her.'

And when he was questioned if there would always be love between them, Tyga simply added: 'For sure.'

The pair were seen shopping for handbags and later Tyga was seen signing for a purchase at the register. 

Despite only his limited chart success, the 26-year-old lives large and loves to flaunt his cash on social media and in real life.

The pair were first pictured together earlier this week and have been inseparable ever since.  

Demi wore a spaghetti strap, figure-hugging black dress, which fell to just below the model's knees for the shopping trip. 

The daring number featured a plunging, lace-up front that put her ample assets on display, and cinched in to show off her slim waist.

She coupled the dress with a pair of strappy, black heels with eye-catching embellishments on the heel. Demi accessorized with a diamond necklace, also carrying a small, tan leather purse on a gold chain.

Her long, brunette tresses were styled in soft, cascading curls, and she sported a large, silver wristwatch. 

Tyga coordinated with his new girl, also sporting an all-black ensemble as he hit the shops on Friday in Cannes.

He accessorized the look with a pair of patterned, black and white sneakers, as well as a collection of bejeweled rings and chains, as well as a wristwatch.

Tyga represented his brand with a Last Kings baseball cap as well, leading the way as they were spotted heading into the YSL shop.

Tyga and Kylie split before the May 5 Met Gala and the reality TV star is said to have moved on too - she's been linked to another rapper, PartyNextDoor, whose real name is Jahron Brathwaite.

Sister act: The reality star also met up with sisters Kourtney and Khloe for a workout, later hanging out with Kourtney for a bit 

A source said: 'Their relationship started quite suddenly but it just feels right. They are mad for each other. She doesn't know why she wasted time with Tyga.'

'Kylie's family found the eight-year age gap with Tyga a bit weird, especially as they got together before she turned 18 last year.'

'PartyNextDoor is much better as he's only four years older than her.'
