Kopying Kylie? Alli Simpson the latest celebrity to take a leaf out of Teen Queen Jenner's book by making her pout appear plumper with lip-liner  

She's made a lucrative living showing millions of fans how to make pouts look thicker without the help of cosmetic surgery. 

And it appears Alli Simpson is the latest celebrity to take a leaf out of Kylie Jenner's book as she stepped out at a fashion show in Sacramento, California on Tuesday. 

The 18-year-old seemed to have put the Teen Queen's trick of 'overlining' to work, making her pout appear plumper with the use of lip-liner.

Though the teen has been gifted with naturally full lips, evident in photos of her from many years ago, her pout was further amplified with the optical illusion. 

Sharing a snap while en route to the event with her mother Angie, a strong outline could be seen going beyond the natural shape of her lips. 

Alli's makeup was otherwise rather subdued for the outing, opting for matte foundation, a dusting of blush and manicured eyebrows.

The Gold Coast native, who now resides in Los Angeles with her brothers Cody and Tom, has experienced a beauty evolution ever since finding fame as a pop singer. 

Stepping out at the Teen Choice Awards in 2014, she sported a deep tan, baby pink lips and less-prominent brows. 

Just last week, Australian model Jesinta Campbell appeared to have copied Kylie, with a strongly-lined lip as she made her appearance at the Tome runway for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

With a glossy nude lipstick, the David Jones ambassador opted for a darker shade to make the outline of her lips stand out, which in turn made them plumper. 

Meanwhile, Kylie has made a fortune with her own beauty brand Kylie Cosmetics after she had been inundated with requests to share tips with regards to her trademark pout.

She also shares her beauty tips regularly via her subscription-based website, saying that 'overlining' is her secret for her pillowy look.
