But that didn't stop Karlie Kloss' assistant doing a great job of holding an umbrella over her head on a rainy day in New York City.

The supermodel, who stands a stunning 6ft 2ins without her high heels, towered over the male aid, who wore a smart blue suit.

The 23-year-old was suited up herself in a black jacket and skinny trousers plus a sheer black blouse with a deep round neck that showed off her black bra.

Karlie wore a cream trenchcoat over her shoulders to protect her from the inclement weather.

The blonde was beautifully made up with black eyeliner and lashings of mascara, plus light foundation and blush while bright red lipstick added a pop of colour.

In the morning, the former Victoria's Secret Angel shared three Instagram snaps with her 4.7 million followers gleefully announcing that she is the new face of upscale crystal jewelry brand Swarovski.

Standing on the roof of The Quin Hotel in mid-town Manhattan, she took off her trench coat to reveal her very long legs in her black suit as she stretched up to take a selfie.

The beauty has been dating financier Joshua Kushner, the son of wealthy real estate mogul Charles Kushner, since 2012. 

The 30-year-old is the managing partner of Thrive Capital, a media investment firm which he founded in 2009.
